APEC Water Tank-4, 4 Gallon Pre-Pressurized Water Storage Tank

I bought this to replace the stock tank for my RO system from GE. The old tank was barely putting out two cups of water at a time. However, the stock replacement was going to be around $150, so I was looking for a cheaper option. Since this tank is carried by the same store that I bought the RO system from, and they have it labeled as an "industry standard" in terms of pressure settings, I decided to give it a try. And so far, it works great! Much better pressure, and I get a lot more water out of the system at a time. Notably too, the water tastes better! Maybe because it's not mixing with old, stagnant water that can't be expelled. Super easy to install! Bought a shut off valve fitting to connect the tank to the plastic line of my system, and managed to connect it easily. Be sure to use plumbers tape on the fitting. I also used an O-ring for good measure. So far, no issues with leaking, as other people are reporting in their reviews.

Great APEC tank for my Reverse Osmosis kitchen faucet filter. I've installed & used APEC Reverse Osmosis water systems for decades in my houses through the years and installed them for family members and friends. APEC RO systems are straightforward to install and provide clean pure water for cooking, drinking and giving to pets. APEC is a U.S. owned company that provides great customer service and excellent water filtering products: RO filter for kitchen cooking and drinking, whole house water filters to filter out chlorine and contaminants before the water can get to your shower/bathtub. I've had this 4 gallon tank in my APEC RO system, for 10 years in my present house. I recently found that I wasn't able to dispense more than half a gallon of filtered water at a time. Replacing this 4 gallon water tank (about a 19 minute job) restored my RO system's pressure and water flow back to gallons and gallons whenever needed. This tank is a bargain at a little more than $40 - I didn't have to replace my RO system to restore full filter flow. I recommend APEC water filter systems - excellent quality, a good value and great customer service!
