You should be able to do 6 pick guards and then some with that amount.

I doubt it. This tape is designed to liine the inside of electric guitar cavites providing shileding and noise resduction. It's very thin and I cannot see it used for anything else.

What is the thickness of the copper portion of the 6 inch by 33 foot version of this product?

I got a roll of the 3" wide tape. I peeled off the backing, folded it in half to stick to itself (to keep the sticky part away from the micrometer anvil) and measured 4 mils for the double thickness. I don't think the tiny layer of glue added much, so that would make the copper thickness 2 mils or so. I'd guess the 6" wide tape is similar.

no, only one side has glue on it. It would be very hard to work with and is not necessary. The edges of each small, ground off (to remove sharp edges) piece of glass is wrapped in copper foil (as in stained glass picture/window). To join pieces, that is what solder is used for. What is your proposed use for?
