Does this product is scent free?

It is not scent free. It has a baseline perfume scent all on its own. The "free of perfumes and dyes" labeling refers to ADDITIONAL perfumes not being added. It definately has a perfume and scent so if you have sensitivities or allergies (respiratory or skin) this will likely give you a reaction. You would have to test it out for yourself though as everyone is different. True scent free should mean literally SCENT FREE... no smell at all. But this is far from that. hope that helps?

Do these come inter folded in the box? Like tissues pop up when you pull and out, are these the same way?

They are folded, but not interconnected. Pulling one out doesn't position the next partially out of the box awaiting your grasp (like tissues). The opening is large enough for a hand to reach in very easily.

This product, Bounce Free & Gentle, seems to suffer from extremely poor quality control.

Although I have used it in the past and found it to be totally without scent, the box I purchased yesterday at a local retailer smelled strongly of perfume. (There are reasons why I didn’t detect this smell until I was home.) The dryer sheets inside the box were not as bad—the perfume odor was definitely worst on the cardboard box. The sheets, however, had enough (unpleasant) perfume smell that I had to toss all of them.

Looking at one-star Amazon reviews of this product and searching the Q&A for “perfume” and for “smell,”  I found one-star reviews from four different Amazon customers who stated that these dryer sheets have a strong, unpleasant smell; two reviews explicitly said the sheets smell of “perfume.” A fifth review awarded the product three stars because the customer didn’t mind the smell—but there was a smell.

I am writing this response to advise the manufacturer and warn potential customers that, while most boxes of Bounce Free & Gentle dryer sheets are free of scent, some of them are definitely NOT.

Cardboard is notorious for absorbing odors. Perhaps some of the boxes are accidentally contaminated with perfume intended for other products. I believe that the manufacturer did not deliberately put perfume into the box or the dryer sheets. But they need to check their QC because complaints about the odor of this product from Amazon customers date back to 2017. (See review by AndreaShannon, 10.22.2017, one star).
