will the headphones work simultaneously with sound bar?

For this set D4169, since the transmitter doesn't have bypass function, it will not able to have the headphones and sound bar work at the same time. If you would like to get the one that enable them to work simultaneously, you can take HT5009, HT5006, Oasis Plus, and Orbit into consideration.

Can you use with laptop?

Yes! The headphones and earbuds can connect to your laptop directly through Bluetooth, or you can plug the transmitter into your laptop's 3.5mm AUX port and use it that way.

Can one person use headphones and another person watch and hear the tv without using headphones?

This feature DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON THE TV ITSELF. Even TVs under the same brand can have different results for this matter. When you connect a Bluetooth headphone to your smart TV, OR you connect a wireless audio transmitter to TV via AUX/OPT wire, it often automatically mutes the TV speaker. Some TVs on the other hand, allows simultaneous audio output from their built-in speakers and other output. Unfortunately, most of the time, the only way to find out whether your TV supports simutanenous output - is to try it and see.

how do I know when earbuds or headphones are fully charged?

When put the headphones in charge, the LED will turn Red, once fully charged, the RED light will go off. Thank you,
