A very disappointing purchase. The three white dividing sections that are inside of the green ring, keep the frosting, even very soft, from flowing. I used the classic American Buttercream frosting recipe as suggested. I tried (after half hour of attempting to get the frosting through the white dividers unsuccessfully) an option without the white screw part and just the green ring, which has nothing then to attach to, hence when you squish the plastic bag of frosting to get it through the tip, it does work only for a few flowers, before the frosting oozes down the outside of the tip. I am not new to using a frosting bag. The tips have potential if there were a simple second ring to attach the green ring to something inside the bag. The tips are so large, which is nice for flower size, but the ring is unique to the size, so another can't work. I had my daughter also try the tips and she found exactly the same issue. I would not recommend this to anyone. I gave it one star for potential yet un-perfected. Too bad, I had such high hopes. Even went and purchased the gel colorant.

Very well made piping tips. I would have been happier if the set included a single bag coupler instead of a 3 bag coupler.The 3 bag coupler is kinda useless. It did not hold the piping bags well and that many bags made it hard to control for even piping. A single bag coupler would have have been a better choice for the set. But I am very happy with the tips.

I decorated the first cake in 20 plus years. It was so much fun and looked great. Try them, you will have a masterpiece in No time. My Aunt who made beautiful cakes would have loved this tips.

These definitely don't work like the video! I had a friend who does cake decorating help me. She couldn't get the to work either. You must have to use some special recipe icing. With special additives to hold the shape. Because we tired several recipes, chilling the icing, everything. And just the warmth of your hand on the bag makes the shape fall apart immediately upon piping it out. Even if you can get it out in the shape, it will immediately lose it's shape. We tried everything. VERY disappointing. My friend says they must use an additive in the icing. You can't use normal frosting or icing. They really should tell you what to use. Total waste of time and money. Too bad, I was so looking forward to it. And the tricolor coupler included doesn't come with a tip you can use with it. So it's useless too. Ended up just using the bag with the tip cut off and piping it on the cupcakes. Oh well. Live and learn.................

I think they will work well, but have not used all the points. I am looking for a good frosting recipe
