Almost complete
The third disc fills most of the gaps from the initial 2-CD release. The medleys on Disc Two are still edited, but it is what it is. The EVSD 4-disc set has the complete songs. It's nice to hear Sunshine Woman in decent quality. This is a great historical snapshot of a soon-to-be legendary band.

A Terrific Melding of Rock and Blues Music
This music collection that is Led Zeppelin The Complete BBC Sessions has an abundant amount of live studio sounding tracks that include some of their well known songs: Heartbreaker, A Whote Lotta Love, Black Dog, Stairway to Heaven, etc. There are also some other multiple songs that are very memorable to listen to in this collection that include: You Shook Me, What is and What Should Never Be, I Can’t Quit You Baby, Going to California, The Girl I Love She Got Long Wavy Black Hair, Sunshine Woman, How Many More Times etc. I admit that I obtained the opportunity to purchase track 5 of this music collection via Amazon by the July 14 2019 timeframe and I obtained the opportunity to purchase the rest of this enjoyable music collection at a later timeframe via an online amazon gift card gifted to my husband and I from my mother in law. This is a good music collection to listen for eclectic music listeners who are receptive to hearing live sounding music coupled with rock and blues/soul music melodies.

Excellent - how these performances always should have sounded
Excellent remaster/reissue. The sound quality problems of the original 1997 version have been addressed and then some - no more boosted, brittle high end, and no more anemic bass. This new release has better frequency balance, and also better clarity and instrumental separation, particularly around Bonham's drums (the snare and cymbals have never sounded this good, even on some of the highly regarded bootlegs). The 1969 tracks are noticeably improved, and the 1971 tracks are massively improved. My only disappointment is that the newly added bonus tracks are all grouped on Disc 3. It would've been great if Jimmy Page had taken the same "reimagined & expanded" approach as he did to the redone 2007 version of The Song Remains the Same - he could have put these BBC tracks in their original session order. However, I understand why he did it this way - reordering the tracks would've required very awkward splits in the various sessions, or else would have required 4 CDs (and who knows how many LPs) instead of 3.Overall, I'm thrilled to finally be able to hear the Zep BBC tracks in the sound quality they always should have had - and many of the bonus tracks are real gems too. (The final three, sourced from shortwave radio recordings, sound awful, but it's good to have them for posterity, and they're stuck at the very end so you don't have to listen to them.)

it’s 3 cd’s- the first 2 are exactly like the 1997 version
I didn’t understand Jimmy’s thinking, it’s 3 cd’s- the first 2 are exactly like the 1997 version, and the 3rd cd is all the stuff left off or newIf that was the case- they could have sold just the 3rd “companion cd” for those of us who bought it 20 yrs ago.Example- Dazed & White Summer are from the Playhouse Theater 6/27/69 show- make the show complete by adding them to that cdWhat is-Comm. Brkdwn-Thank You are from Paris Theater 4/1/71 put them where they originally were in running list of the show on that cd!!!And why not put the songs you left off from certain broadcast with the shows they were originally on? Instead of separating them on a different cd??ughhhhh, and why cut out the stuff I've been listening to for 35 years like the Isleys Bros. It's Your Thing on Comm. Breakdown 6/27/69 show or the For What It's Worth during WLL Paris Theater 4/1/71??? somebody wrestle him away from the masters please!!!!! Besides all that the packaging is sweet, the new booklet with studio pictures and info make it worth it for us Zep heads

"Wow" just doesn't cut it.
I was first introduced to this series of recordings when I purchased the box set on CD a few decades ago. I finally dropped the hammer and got the vinyl version.I love the CD version, but the vinyl just seems more raw. The pressing itself is really very excellent. I've listened to this on two different turntables and it's definitely a quality product. There's very little noise on the vinyl itself. The highs are clear and precise, and the lows are well defined. The midrange also has a very good presence with no dropouts. All in all, I'm extremely happy with this purchase.
