Great for semi trucks
We got this mobile wifi box for my husband to use in his semi truck while he drives over the road. It has a signal everywhere! I think the price is worth it, we prepay 59 dollars for 30 days and 30 gigs of data, which is plenty to connect the smart TV and stream movies and TV shows all month long. We have tried other wifi boxes but they would be limited to just one network, so service was always spotty. This device looks for all networks and connects to the strongest signal anywhere you go, which is perfect for someone always on the move! Very pleased with the device and the connectivity!

WiFi for an uninhabited second home? Yes, but with some flaws.
I bought this device to organize Wi-Fi in the second home. I understand, of course, that this is not the standard use for which this device is intended. Accordingly, with its use in this way, some features are required that the developers have not implemented.I brought it to the second house, turned it on and configured it. Since it only serves two thermostats and one garage door via Wi-Fi, it doesn't require much traffic, so I opted for the very cheap 12GB 365-day for North America plan. The plan price was $69. Now, unfortunately, the price is much higher: $159.Pros:- In general, it works.- The device is not afraid of short power outages (the internal battery lasts for about 9 hours).- You can see the status of the device remotely, if it is online or not.Cons:- It cannot be remotely configured or restarted.- If the power is lost for a long time, it turns off after the battery runs out. After that, when electricity appears on the network, it charges again, but you can only turn it on physically, with a button.- After a long period of operation, it may simply disconnect from the cellular network for an unknown reason. In my case, when I arrived, I just turned it off and on, and everything was restored, but, as you understand, this cannot be done remotely. If you want to use it for the same purpose, you need to buy a charger for it. Also I would advise:- Be sure to plug the device into a surge protector. Otherwise, the charger may burn out because of a voltage spike in the power network (it happened to me once).- Have someone who can come into the house and restart the device if it stops working properly. If I were asked to suggest how this device could be improved for the purpose for which I use it, I would ask to (1) make a remote interface so that you can check the full status and restart the device, and (2) add an option that the device turns itself on when power is restored and the battery is charged enough. And, of course, I would like it to be able to work for a long time (e.g., several months) without restarting.Overall, a solid 4 stars.

Perfect contingency solution in the event of an unplanned outage.
I needed a backup internet for emergencies and this device is the perfect solution. My internet provider at home (Xfinity) is for the most part very reliable but we experienced two major outages in the past month, leaving us without internet for 2 days. These events made me consider the necessity of a contingency internet connection. I did not want to commit to a monthly plan because it would be overkill for my needs so I found out that the "Pay-as-you-go" solution was perfect. What I really like about this device is the fact that it can connect to the best network available (AT&T, Verizon, or T-Mobile) depending on where you are at. That's a significant benefit because my cell provider has very poor connectivity (making my phone's hotspot pretty much useless) but the other 2 carriers provide a decent service.I read some of the negative reviews and they all seem to be due to the expensive plans offered (which is true) but in my case, the 10Gb/1day package for $17.99 will be enough to cover my needs during a potential outage. I work from home using Virtual Desktop and my data consumption is minimal, 10Gb is plenty of data and enough to keep my connection up and running, surf the internet, check personal email, and occasionally watch YouTube shorts. I always requested a credit for these outages ($15/$20 credit) so basically, XFinity is paying for my backup internet. The speed is not lightning fast but it varies depending on your location. There are other solutions out there if you are going to be using this as your primary internet connection or you need a super-fast connection but this is a perfect backup solution for short-term usage.

The product that I brought was detailed that I do not need any SIM card how come the one that they have sent me requested a SIM card? I am waiting for you to send me a return label to send it back to you and you will get me another one. Thank You.
