This is a powerful and cooling fan
I love this fan! It’s very powerful. More than once I’ve had to check to see if I had it on high, but it was only on medium. It does have a fan sound to it, which I like. So if you want a quiet fan, this isn’t for you. Though it’s not so loud you can’t hear the tv next to it. I need the white noise. The remote controls fan speed, timer, and on/off. Simple, but effective and batteries included. It has a good range of reach. I bought the 16” for my room because it fits better than a bigger one. This has the kind of wind you get from those more expensive metal floor fans. It’s so nice and keeps you really cool. It was fairly easy to put together as I’m familiar with how they’re built. I just had to realize one of the caps was righty loosey/lefty tighty. Not used to that. It’s printed on the cap In the same color as the cap, so hard to read. I’ve had it a couple weeks now and so far, so good. Got it on a good deal which I waited for. Gotta grab those deals!

Powerful Fan that beats the heat
Old school rotating fan with full power, in the hottest room in the house (more powerful then my ceiling fan) has a heavy base, easy to put together includes remote control you’ll need 2 AAA batteries. Rather put my $30 here than any other brand, couldn’t sleep due to the heat the night I bought this and never had this brand before so glad it turned out perfect. My husband did mention it was slightly loud but I didn’t notice it!

LOVE!
I love it! It lasts 12 hours & it’s quieter than my last brand. Plus this one can tilt. I researched a long time for a new 12+ hour fan (after my dogs knocked my last fan over too many times). I think there were only a couple. This one had a better price too.

High-quality fan, but a short cord + overly loud Low mode + loud button beeps prevent perfection
Pros: - PLENTY of air, even on Low!!! (I barely need to use Medium let alone the High mode except to possibly air out my hot room somewhat faster at night during a California heat wave.) - Nice, quality feel overall - The floor base is heavy which provides sturdy support (but almost too heavy) - Easy enough to put together with or without manual. - Remote works pretty well - Fan design is decent to look at, but nothing super fancy (could be a pro or con) Cons: - The cord is easily too short. Maybe 2-3 ft shorter than our 10-yr-old cheaper Lasko pedestal fan. (Expect the short cord to be dangling in the air if you don’t put the fan right next to the AC outlet without an extension cord.) - Low speed is a bit loud/powerful for the lowest setting, at least from what I am used to. All the speed modes have this constant propeller plane type of noise to them. But again, it pushes A LOT of air even on Low mode, and that I am used to a bit cheaper fans that are hardly noisy at all on Low. When setting this fan to its maximum height, the fan pushes back a bit even on Low. Also, the Low speed is between a quieter fans’ Medium & High mode. Honestly! (Either from blade noise or the motor noise, or both.) - The fan and remote buttons give off a high-frequency sound and can be irritating to hear all the time. You will know when someone is pushing the fans’ buttons, perhaps across the hall or another room depending upon how sound travels. You might wake someone with these beeps too! (I wish there was a way to turn the beep mode off! You listening, Hurricane?!) - I can tell this fan is going to be quite a bit heavier than previous models, especially due to the heavy base. Not a big deal for the average person like me, but the weight difference vs other pedestal fans is quite noticeable. - The plastic, removable remote holder is a bit flimsy, especially when you want to lower the fan, since the plastic remote holder attaches to the pole beneath the controls. It just feels cheap and unnecessary. (Might I suggest a DIY velcro job for this remote and set it on top next to the oscillation switch?! Hint hint!) - The all-metal grills, when put together, can sometimes cause an annoying metal vibration/rubbing sound even on Low mode. It happened when I first put the fan together in June, and again September after rinsing off the dust. Hurricane should have put some sort of dampener(s) on the contact points to prevent this. The vibration sound usually will go away if you take off the front grill and replace it slightly and rest as you go. I am sure one could install some dampeners, but I haven’t tried any myself. - Unless you are a small child/person, the fan controls on the unit itself will be blocked by the bottom portion of the blade grill; especially if fan is low to the ground. Just a minor annoyance really, but our cheaper Lasko fan didn’t have this design flaw! (Something I noticed after use this summer.) Installation: So, upon first setting up the fan out of the box and using it the first time, I had no issues. The only thing that kind of annoyed me was that the 2 metal grills would clearly be vibrating on one another when the fan would start up, but the vibrating grills would quickly quiet down after a second or two. I just had to realign the front metal grill a couple times to stop the vibration noise. Again, the fan worked fine, and it’s such a minor thing, but I am glad the minor grill noise stopped. I am used to fans with plastic grills, or a metal front that connects to a plastic back side grill. Since it’s a new fan, I just wanted it to be perfect haha. I guess if the metal grills make noise in the future, I could always put some sort of dampener between the two metal grills. I am guessing here that it’s a common thing with all metal fan grills, and not a knock on quality toward this specific brand or model. I just wish it was available in Black color. It says it has the color on this page on the last photo to scroll through up top. Although White color looked clean, and I wanted to try this brand for a change. I guess I am used to darker colored fans, so the White color stood out to me too much. It looks great, make no mistake, but that was how I felt. This would be the near perfect fan (for the price) if it had: - a longer cord (2-ft longer at least) - no button beeps (or ability to turn the beeps off) - a five blade design instead of the common three - a 5-speed selection where the lowest speed wouldn’t be quite as loud - a less heavy ground base that still provided good support so not to feel cheap or fall over - a less flimsy remote holder design choice - the Black color available as well!!! (Updated/Edited on Sept 5th 2022.) NOTE: This fan has held up really well in a near 90°F room during the summer in Southern California as a heat dome boils the area. This fan is an awesome alternative to using AC all the time, as well as being a great help to cooling down/airing out the 85-90°F room I sleep in before getting to bed later at night. It has been on maybe 20 hrs of the day if I am there and has held up wonderfully. It’s still pretty new, so I don’t expect it to break yet, but thank you Hurricane for this great fan for the summer months!)

Powerful, perfect breeze for a big room
Soooo happy with this fan! 3 speeds, medium, high, and really intense. I live in one 600 square foot space, including Great Room, kitchen, laundry and bath. I turn the oscillation away from where I'm sitting or sleeping, and it makes a wonderful sleeping temp. It reduces my A/C bill a lot. I love the white noise because of all the lawn mowers making it hard to talk on the phone or watch a show. Perfect for napping. It isn't for those looking for a very light breeze, but if you want some power, this is it.

Don't fall for it..
No stars are deserved. I bought these fans because they had what seemed like better reviews. Of course not all products are full proof but given the price and product description we decided to give it a chance. BIG mistake. I bought 2 and one has already given out. Shut off in the middle of a super hot night so waking up to that was no fun. You can see it is kept clean and it is in a nice open space usually. Mind you, this one was the one I bought in April. Didn't even. Get through summer, what a joke. Even more of a joke is their custom care. Mainly because there is none. I wish I would have known all that before I bought 2 wall units too. One came in worse condition than stated, and has issues when running. 1 never came at all. We had no choice but to install the one we received. Had to go back and forth at least 3 times to get them to figure it out and see that they hadn't given me a full refund. This all happened around the same time.. today actually. Wheni finally got resolution for the one, I realized it was the same seller. They were not willing to assist with this stand fan. I realize it's put of the window but for this situation and given all other negative experiences so far, they would want to make it right. Absolutely not. Probably for the best. If I were you I wouldn't waste the money so you don't have the same disappointment.

Worth the money - great fan.
Great stand fan! I bought one a couple of years ago for an upstairs' bedroom, then bought another. All are working great!

A GREAT PURCHASE!
This fan is very very good. It blows air really really well. It has three speed levels and just the first one blows too well. Before buying, I did notice the reviews about the noise level…that it is not quiet but I think it’s very worth it. At the rate in which it blows, it’s understandable that it’s not quiet. If you’re thinking of getting it, GET IT. You will not be disappointed!!!!! The remote is also soooo convenient. I don’t have to get out of bed to switch it on or off. So that’s a huge plus.

Very powerful but very loud
This thing blows! Hard lol, it almost blows itself over it's impressively powerful. I have it for drying hockey gear and damn, it works great. Thought, it is as loud as a helicopter lol lots of air = noise, so no stars off for that.

Not powerful
I wasted my time with this product. Seller could not provide cfm. Hurricane manufacturer did not reply for 4 days for my enquiry any cfm. However Going by good reviews I ordered it and its not powerful . Hurricane makes good industrial fans I expected them to build a good residential fan. Random searches on Google mentioned this fan has 3000 cfm but clearly it's nowhere close to 3000. My small woozo fan has similar power to this and it's good for a bedroom but not a living room. I wasted my time researching , assembling, disassembling and returning this. Also the tilt comes back up when fan is oscillating, it does not stay tilted down for more than 1 minute.

Not quiet, but excellent.
This fan is a large beast. The slow setting is not quiet, at all. It's a noise maker, and even on the slowest setting, it'll blow your newspapers everywhere. It's not what I had in mind when I ordered it, but I'll keep it, since it can blow a gust who knows how far? (Easily 30 feet, I'm guessing.) It gets points for having mostly metal construction (you should still be gentle with it) and it looks good. If you're boiling hot and trying to sleep, I don't think the noise would be too much of an issue, if the fan is on from across a large room.
