The most fun $50 can buy
I’ve been lifting for about 10 years mostly focusing on barbell and dumbbell work. I built myself a little home gym with a squat rack and adjustable dumbbells. I was getting great powerlifting style workouts, but was lacking on isolated muscle movements. This thing is insanely versatile and takes barely any space! All week I’ve been pushing it to it’s limits, so far I have figure out a way to make these cables work as a quad extension, hamstring curl, RDL, of course chest flies, bicep curls, lat pull downs, rows, face pulls, and tricep push downs, etc. There is SO much this thing has to offer, I find myself just playing around with it for hours just because I’m having such a blast! I look forward to my muscle soreness going away just so I can hit those muscle groups again! Best value for my money ever spent! It does have 2 cons I’ve noticed though, it would be disingenuous not to mention them. 1) one of the carabiners got a little bent first time using it with very low weight. TBH I think that was user error because it didn’t anchor the weight correctly on the carabiner but something to keep in mind. 2) the wire often gets stuck between the roller and the guard when the roller is on the ground and doesn’t have constant tension on it, such as when you’re switching legs or handles. Again, not a huge deal, but I know there are better pulleys out there that don’t have this issue, they’re just a little more expensive. Overall amazing product, very quiet and smooth, 10/10 would recommend.

Good, economical kit
As an aging gym rat, it has become clear that injury rehabilitation and exercise variation is now more important than ever. I originally wanted to build my own kit but as I selected individual pieces it got real expensive, fast. I saw this kit and thought if the cables and pulleys are decent, than I can search out the rest. However, this kit is very solid, even the little loading pin! (I have two steel pins fro ironmind that weigh 5 lbs apiece) If you are looking to slam 250 lbs and go to town, then maybe not. But, to gain functionality in a home gym? Yes. 100% The rope is good, the clips are fine, the cables and pulleys are solid, and all the bits of hardware are plentiful and well thought out. The handles are meh but they function and are cheap to replace. The little instruction manual is even useful. Whoever laid this system out really thought it through and sourced good, economical parts. I generally don't reviews unless a product surprises me, good or bad. This pulley system is really, really good at this price point. I have used it 25 out of the last 30 days and I am very satisfied.

Great, but short straight bar
Love this system. Connected it to my pull-up bar and use it almost daily. Pulleys are very quiet and sturdy. Able to lift large loads with easy. And all the extra attachments are fantastic. Works great with dumbbells, which is what I exclusively use. The only downside is I wish the straight bar was longer. It's about shoulder width, so very narrow. Not the best for lat pull downs.

Wish I ordered this YEARS ago!
I wish I had ordered this for my home gym years ago! The overall quality of this is fantastic. I was really surprised. Doesn't feel cheap at all. And set up is super easy. I simply hook it up to my pull up bar in the door frame. Takes about 20 seconds. Pile the weights on and go. I'm using standard plates and the loading pin measures about 13" tall. Plenty of room to stack a decent amount of weight on. For the last several years I've been using barbells and dumbbells. Basic stuff. But wow, it's so nice to have access to such a wide range of new exercises now! The only exercises that don't quite feel right are the cable flyes (when the pulleys are attached to a pull up bar) and bicep curls. With cable flyes in a gym, the pulleys are directly at your sides, which creates a constant tension on your chest muscles no matter where your arms are in the range of motion. When this set up is attached to your pull up bar at home, you have to step forward which moves the pulleys are behind you. So once your arms are pointed straight out in front of you, the tension is taken off your chest muscles and placed directly onto your shoulders and triceps. So at best you get the same stimulation you'd get from a dumbbell chest fly with the same limitations of that movement. For bicep curls, it just doesn't feel right when the loading pin is attached to the pulley and allowed to glide freely on the cable (like they show in the pictures). So an easy fix for this is to simply not use the cables. Load up the loading pin with your weights, attach the rope or straight bar to it, and do your curls that way. No cable needed. You get a lot more tension on your biceps that way than if you try to let the pulley glide freely on the cable. Otherwise, all of the tricep, shoulder, back and ab movements feel FANTASTIC with this set up. SERTT offers two different options for this set. One is a little cheaper and comes with fewer attachments and cables. I highly encourage you to spend the extra $10 on this one for the extra cables, attachments, and pulley. I'm constantly discovering new exercises to do and I wouldn't be able to do them without the extra equipment that comes with this $65 option. Highly, highly recommend this!

Just get the kit, don’t piecemeal this from a hardware store.
Honestly surprised by this. Save yourself the DIY money and don’t get the cable and pulleys from Home Depot and get this kit. If you price each item out at regular price or on sale this kit is easier and better than piecing out the pieces as a DIY. It’s not fancy and has all the items needed for a DIY pulley system in your garage gym. Grab another set of pulleys and loading pin and you can have a dual pulley system. I don’t know how long it will hold up for but it’s a good DIY kit and and as I mentioned cheaper than the Home Depot route.

Love it!
Super easy to use. You can get very creative with anchoring to do different exercises. Using the secondary pulley, we are able to do wood side chops, pallof presses, standing rows, and so much more! It Has worked perfectly for my clients! The hooks are a little on the cheap side, and you have to manually close them some times, but those are easy to replace. I am a mobile personal and this pulley system has been a great addition to my arsenal of equipment!

Brilliant
This system is awesome. The pulleys are smoother than any cable machines at my gym. The handles, rope, and bar are the same quality as my gym if not better. At first I was attaching the pulleys to my pull-up bar, but then I picked up some lag type eye bolts and strategically placed them in some studs in the wall and ceiling of my garage and now I have so many configurations I can do almost any workout my gym offers but from home. I didn't own any plates at first, but I purchased an ankle strap with a plan in mind- I have a set of adjustable dumbbells so I was hoisting one of them up and down for a couple days until my plates arrived. I recommend the CAP rubber bumper plates, I purchased 100 pounds in various weights for $75 and I'm getting more. I'm about to purchase the SERTT lat bar and a v-bar to round out this system, maybe even a couple more pulleys so I can leave them all in place. You have to be creative but you can set these pulleys up in so many different ways. If you own this system, a set of adjustable dumbbells, and a bench you can do a complete workout from home. Very happy with the quality and value of this purchase and if you are considering buying something like this I highly recommend it.

Great
A good addition to the home gym set up. It attaches to the rack I have and It enables me to do a few key back exercises, triceps and shoulders exercises. Smooth, silent and takes plenty of weight. Only gripe is that it requires a bit of faffing to set up for different exercises but a small price to pay for the ability to train at home. 👍🏻
