I ordered Bison cam straps from Amazon for securing rowing boats to racks and trailers during transport. These are delicate and valuable, so I was really happy to find the Bison straps were the high quality and reliability I was looking for. The straps are durable, very nicely made, and feel totally secure - I have no worries about them failing, or damaging the loads, unlike with other cheaper straps used in the past.

The straps were purchased to secure surf board to my roof rack. They are great for that and are better than the previous roof rack straps I have specifically for that purpose. Good purchase.

I bought these straps to tie down my bee hives against being moved by strong winds or being nudged by deer or sheep. They are just the job, being easy to use and sturdy. They are ideal for this use, but I can also see they will be well suited for many other purposes as they come along. Build quality is excellent, but should anything go wrong there is a life-time guarantee.

I’ve had a couple of these for years. Good quality product. I use 2 of the 4m length ones to hold my roof box up in the rafters in my garage. Great for lifting up …just pull one tie-down at a time and the self locking mechanism holds one end in place as you pull the other end up. Lowering is just as easy. Turns a two man job into a one man one! I bought some more for use with my car roof bars for tying things down. Just the job…and very secure. 👍

These are a great strong strap for in my case securing luggage in the boot of the car. They are strong, well made and sold at a good price. I would recommend this product.

Basically, I am happy with these. I have never used nylon ones before and think I prefer the more canvas-like material….but these are going to be continually outside, so nylon may end up being the better choice in the long run. Their sturdiness and durability are my primary concern. I haven’t used them long enough to know. If I had been looking at them in person….able to feel them when choosing, I might have gone with something that felt sturdier, but time will tell.

I’m sure they are good for somthing’s but not lashing a raft to a frame . I just got around to using them and found the buckles are too sharp to use. I missed my return window now stuck wasting money on the straps .

These are good for light loads, especially at this price. For heavy loads or high speeds (like rooftop kayaks), I highly recommend the BISON GEAR Premium Tie Down Straps 1100lbs for a few more dollars. I ultimately went with the premium straps, which have a great design and feel.
