Flying Frog Last Night on Earth: 10th Anniversary Edition

I have all of the expansions but never bought the original game. I'm very fortunate I didn't because Flying Frog released this 10th anniversary edition. This is the best zombie game around in my opinion and plays well with groups of players. The 4 hero's need to complete various objectives (there are multiple scenarios to play) while 1 or 2 zombie players try to stop them or at least slow them down until sunrise. The 10th Anniversary Edition comes with improved components over the original base game, new and old hero/zombie upgrades, 4 new characters that were previously townsfolk cards, and everything else the base game has. This is a fantastic head to head game that my friends and I can't get enough of. By the way if you Google search "Last Night On Earth Complete Rulebook" you can find THE BEST rulebook for this game. It's a PDF file on Board Game Geek that is continually being updated and it's much, much better than the 10th anniversary rulebook.

This is one of the most fun board games I have played. I has many different missions that play out very different each time you play them. This particular edition comes with a plastic truck, tokens, CD, fire rings which doesn't come in the original box. Plus it has extra space for the expansion packs ( I have all the main expansions and do not have anymore room though for the last two small ones) It also comes with 6 red 6 black full size dice. The other thing I find kool is that it has a live cast. With all that said it is still cardboard and plastic so if you dont take care of it it will break down. I am also painting my mini's which add more flavor to the game.

Any Last Night on Earth fan should pick this up. It’s the base game but with some extras, my personal favorite is the new 3D translucent orange fire markers. It also fits most of the expansions that we own. It’s hefty and big but well worth it for an anniversary edition.

Beautiful update of a great game. For only about $20.00 more than the original version you gets updates, better tokens and miniatures, and a box to hold expansions. Since this is a limited print run I imagine it will be hard to find before too long.

Love the game, is fun and fast. might seems overwhelming at first but when you understand the rule set it becomes fast paced and really fun to play. dont understimate the Zombies because they move just one space. i tell you this by experience. the only problem with this version of the game though. is the box Brokes really easy, i had to fix the cover twice because the sides rip off while closing the game. this is because too much air gets inside and the pressure rip the sides of the box. so, be very careful closing the game after you use it. this is the only reason i give 4/5 stars. the rest of the game is amaaaaaaazing.
