Thank you for your question. Our 7787900 remote control kit comes with a handheld remote control and comes with a receiver. The receiver needs to be installed and wired up in the canopy of the fan. Thank you for your question. You can use our 7787900 ceiling fan and light remote control with our Bolton 7204000 ceiling fan.

Q: I lost my original remote, will this new one work with the 7231100 harmony ceiling fan?

Thank you for your question. The Harmony ceiling fan does not include a remote control but is remote control adaptable. You can use our 7787900 ceiling fan and light remote control with the Harmony ceiling fan. You will need to follow the included instructions and install both the receiver and use the 7787900 handheld remote control.

Q: Can the control channel be changed? How many channels are there?

Thank you for your question. The remote and receiver channels are preset at the factory. In order to change them you need to turn off the fan power completely We would recommend at the breaker and then restore power and press and hold the "fan stop" button for 5 seconds. This needs to be done within 60 seconds after you restore the power . The fan will automatic turn on at low speed and then turn off, with the light flashing 3 times. NOTE: The pairing process is not accepted after 60 seconds when you restore supply power.
