I had another brand. Sort worked for a month - plugging in, then out to get the connection. Plugged both sides of this in and immediately the connection establish, the microphone work. I'm using a Polycom Trio with 2 satellites on a conference table. Fabulous and no noticeable delay with Zoom

I had a Topping D10S DAC connected to my MacMini in my entertainment center. I needed to move the Mini to another location but obviously the DAC had to stay where it was. This little gadget did the trick with little fuss. The connection is good over 30-40 feet of old unshielded CAT5e in the walls and a 20 foot length of shielded CAT6 patch cable. Tested to a sample rate of 358 kHz with perfect clean sound. A bonus is the included power supply you can connect to the remote end of the connection to supply all the needed power to the DAC.

My office, ( re-configured bedroom )... Server Room located out in Garage area, ( dedicated room ). Problem: Cable run was 45 feet. High-End Keyboard would not work. Added this system... Keyboard works very well. Hook-up was very easy. Would suggest however, the use of "Shielded" RJ-45 cable to keep interference issues less. Do not see any key action latency issues. Good Product...!

Worked with 100' Cat 6 cable for extended USB! NEED shielded CAT 6 to get any decent distance, but this kit did the job!

I am using these to stream audio from one room to 3 other locations in my house. all about 10-15 meters away. These devices work every time. No audio lang and no audio compressed or muffled sound like I've had with other USB extenders.

Tried two different ethernet cables and two different usb devices. No link activity, usb device was not detected.

Seems to do exactly what was described. Would buy again.

I used this to connect a mouse to a USB port of a video security system running in a closet, using cat5e cable under the house. The mouse controls the display on a remote monitor. The setup consisted in just hooking up the connections.Perfect, all around, and for an amazing price.

Es funktioniert gut und verlängert bei mir einen USB-Port um ca. 20m einwandfrei. Dadurch, dass der Empfänger eine Stromversorgung hat, liegen am USB-Port auch die vorgegebenen 5V wieder an. Ich weiss nicht, wie das die anderen Geräte machen, wenn sie keine Stromversorgung beim Empfänger haben. Durch das Netzwerkkabel werden sie i.a. wohl nicht die Spannung übertragen (auch wenn es Power over Ethernet gibt), bzw. ich könnte mir vorstellen, dass dann die Spannung einbrechen könnte. Hier ist das alles ok - funktioniert einwandfrei.

Si has utilizado dos clavijas de pared conectadas al adaptador, el resultado va a depender enteramente de tu instalación y las interferencias que haya — yo he probado en una oficina con una instalación un poco caótica (sé de lo que hablo, la hice yo) y ha funcionado satisfactoriamente. ¿Qué funciona con este adaptador? Prácticamente cualquier dispositivo USB 2.0 salvo discos duros externos y otros dispositivos autoalimentados con un consumo elevado, aunque las memorias USB que tenía a mi alcance han funcionado razonablemente bien. Por supuesto, si conectas un hub al otro extremo, lo más probable es que no funcione más de un dispositivo, o ninguno, salvo los que consumen muy poco como teclados o ratones. El funcionamiento óptimo es hasta los 30 metros: de los 30 a los 50 he comprobado que muchos dispositivos que requieren mayor potencia como webcams o memorias USB se desconectan y dan problemas. Para mi caso de uso resulta ideal: conectar un ordenador a una pizarra digital que está en otra habitación a través de una instalación de red ya existente — a todos los efectos, es como conectar teclado y pantalla táctil a través de 50 metros de cable. Todas las pruebas que he realizado han sido satisfactorias y este extensor cumple perfectamente su propósito.

I have a PTZ camera that needed to be hooked up to a laptop. Problem is, the laptop was 35 m (100 ft) away, and USB can only reach to 6 feet max for HD video. This extender proved to be the solution. Just plug the receiver and transmitter into the USB ports of your laptop and in my case the camera, connect the two with a CAT 5/6 ethernet cable, power it up, and Bob's your uncle. No drivers to download, affordable, and simple to install. Just be aware that the receiver end needs to be powered, so you will need an outlet near the equipment you want to connect to.
