I found this slicer ineffective. I lot harder to use than I expected. I would rather use a knife.

This cutter was difficult to use. The top layer was mushy. It was also impossible to get all the ripe part of the watermelon of the rind because you can't get the right angle. I ended up needing to cut the rest off the rind with a knife. I cut the other half with a knife and threw this product right in the trash.

Using this watermelon cutter takes some getting used to. I noticed that while slicing, the fruit sometimes gets stuck in the tool, which causes the slices to come out uneven or not fully cut. It seems to struggle more when making cross slices. I also ended up with a lot of thin slivers and pieces that weren’t full cubes. It does slice the watermelon, so it’s not entirely ineffective, but it didn’t meet my expectations. I thought I’d end up with mostly clean, uniform cubes, probably closer to 90%, but what I actually got was more like 70%. I wish I would have taken a photo, but I didn't

This is a cool product and it works very very well. I'm a watermelon fanatic this time of year I eat it for breakfast lunch and sometimes as a side at dinner. My husband thought I was crazy buying this thing and asked me don't we own any knives. Then he realized that he sometimes packs my lunch for me in the mornings and really appreciate it when he tried to use it and it worked perfectly and quickly so I think he does appreciate it and I know I do love it absolutely love it. Every person should have one of these in her kitchen. I imagine this would work for marshmallowing cantaloupe possibly but maybe cantaloupe is too firm I don't know but I know it works for watermelon and it works well. Would repurchase and I would recommend

I found it hard to use and painful on the hand. So, I decided to stand the watermelon half on its end so that I can slice it with more power and control. I also put a glove on so that I am not rubbing my hand directly on hard edge metal. Problems solved. I was able to cut up the watermelon, somewhat, uniformly and, by far, less of a mess. Also, I was able to do it all in record time!

It is a great product. I would recommend it to anyone.

This did not work as the pictures indicated. yes, it cut the watermelon which is why it gets 2 stars, but it definitely doesn't create perfect uniform cubes like in the pictures or video. Save your money and just cut your watermelon with a regular knife.

This watermelon cutter is the best and easiest watermelon cutting tool I have ever made! It has changed the way I cut watermelons, and I will never cut my hands again. I saw its video when I bought the watermelon knife, and it immediately attracted me. I have never seen such a way to cut watermelon. Because I like to eat watermelons, I buy a lot of watermelons every summer. But every time I cut the watermelon, I make a mess. I will make the tabletop very dirty, watermelon juice is everywhere! I even cut into my hands. So I haven't eaten watermelon for a while. Until I bought this watermelon knife, I started eating watermelon every day. I learned to operate like video. First cut the watermelon in half. Second I inserted the watermelon knife vertically into the edge of the watermelon, first cut it vertically, then cut it horizontally, I got a lot of watermelon pieces, which is really amazing. I bought a watermelon cutter + 2 forks, so I can eat it directly with a fork after I cut it. Some comments say that it breaks easily, and I have no problem with it. When I hold it in my hand, I think this watermelon cutter is very hard. You don't need to poke this into the skin of the melon. It just slides over it.

All this product did was rip and tear my watermelon to pieces. It did NOT cut the watermelon into small neat squares as the product video indicates. I would definitely NOT recommend wasting your money for this product. An ordinary butchers knife works much better and faster!
