Fantastic value for the $$. Works flawlessly and easy setup.
I have come to not expect much from cheap Amazon electronics, but this was a DEAL. It works flawlessly and I can switch between my four computers easily. I saw in the reviews that some people had a lag, but I think that is their equipment because mine switches fast. The remote allows you to hide the cables and just bring out the switch. Sure, it would be better if the remote was wireless, but it is not a big deal to me. You couldn't find a better deal for the $$. The only negative I have is that the cables could be a little longer, but this was an all time best buy for me.

worked great
At the moment I'm only using 3 of the 4 available ports. A raspberry pi 4, a mini pc running ubuntu, and a win 10 laptop. Switching can take a few seconds, it is not instant. Depending on you needs you may want each device to use its native audio. If for example you want audio from PC #1 but you are working on PC #2. In my case I want the audio from each routed through the switch. My monitor HDMI monitor does not have a speaker so there were two options. One would be to use a black box to strip the HDMI audio from the feed from the splitter to the monitor and connect that to external speakers, this needs a clunky box, a power source and a few extra cables or Option 2 which I chose, that is a USB DAC in the spare USB port of the switch and plug that output into external speakers.

If I wern't so picky, it'd be GREAT
I deducted 1 star because the CONS are strictly based on my personal preference. I should have done a little more research before purchasing, therefore, I don't think it's fair to penalize the product when I didn't due my due diligence. This works!!!! That is the main thing. If you're not as picky as I am (see CONS below), than I think you'll be satisfied with the product.PROS:1. The setup was extremely easy.2. It works.3. It's black in lieu of the standard (?) green models that are more predominate on the market4. The attached "switcher control" is labeled5. It comes with cables.CONS (BASED solely on my personal preference):1. Feels very flimsy, unlike the standard(?) green KVMs2. The time between switching from 1 PC to another is longer than I have patience for.

USB length is very short.
Returning it back as the USB cables are very short . In my laptop , the HDMI cables are left side and the USB on the right side . The USB cable is not be able to connect to the other end. so not usable for me .

Made my desk more productive.
Works very well. The extended key pad is a great addition to kit. It makes changing from on PD to the other much easier.

Flawless 4 channel HDMI KVM at an excellent price. Highly recommended.
Flawless, rock solid, highly reliable operation, excellent quality. In my use case, with a mix of Linux machines types (from server to notebook) not a single glitch - it just works. I even have one channel daisy-chained to another KVM and everything works as expected. At $30, this is an excellent value and the best bargain I've had in a long time. I don't have enough superlatives to do it justice.

Loses mouse connection.
Frequently loses mouse connection, I assume there is not enough power available to drive the usb mouse. Using the kvm to switch between a linux and windows laptop. I realized after opening the box that I’ve used this brand before and had the same problems. I can’t really recommend this product.

Serious Lag and periodically drops devices/display requiring power cycle.
I gave this a three star review, because they are given more weight than 1 star bash reviews. So, pay attention! I purchased this KVM switch about two years ago, and use it for work (i work remotely). The internal processor appears to fall short of the load placed on it. after about an hour, lag starts to develop. It has me checking my CPU and Disk in Task manager. But I never find issue with the PCs. I can only assume the internal CPU is starting to cave under the load of keyboard and mouse. Recently, the unit has started to doing this thing where my keyboard will work on one PC, but will not work when I switch to another. Connect it directly to either PC and the keyboard works perfectly, as it should ($90 Logitech keyboard). Some days, when I switch from one PC to another, the display(Asus ProArt) just stops working. I have to unplug both HDMI connections on the switch to remove power so that the internal CPU will reboot, sometimes more than once, to get my display back. These issues are serious productivity killers! The whole point of buying this switch was to avoid the hassle of moving cables and dongles. i do not recommend this product to anyone else. Save your money, time and headache!
