Have been buying these Venison Bars for several years. They are great to use when traveling, require no refrigeration, pop into your pocket, especially for long flights! Have tried different flavors and disliked all except this Venison version. They are dry and a little spicy so will need water but the low sugar and no dairy, and gluten make them a good fit for those of us with dietary challenges. Wonderful for camping, too. I pair them with Aloha Chocolate Mint bars which the Two Bars Together provides 26g Protein, 11g of Fiber and only 5g Sugar. There is a 750mg Sodium but ok unless you need to limit salt intake. Highly recommend Venison only version and Aloha Bars are incredibly tasty! The chocolate mint version of the Aloha bars will remind you of Girl Scout Cookies with only 5g of sugar and a whopping 10g of Fiber!

Really greasy, tastes super gamy, rotten with a plastic and smoke taste. The texture is very dry and all around disgusting

Simple, easy to under ingredients. High in protein, and iron, low in fat and carbs. East hack, heat these guys in your air fryer at 375°- 400° for 2 minutes and it's game changing. They are good room temp, but this softens any intermuscular fat and warms the meat, making it a while other experience. Currently $18 a box at that price you absolutely can't beat these for a hunger satiating snack.

The product is fine, but the listing says 12-count (and so does the manufacturer packaging) but the package isn’t sealed and there are only 10 bars. Given the flimsy nature of the packaging, my guess is that two bars fell out while they were packing my order. My only option is to return the whole thing for a refund, but I actually want the bars and now they're not on sale anymore, plus the hassle of returning them is so annoying that I will probably just settle for keeping the 10 bars that are now just average price instead of being a good bargain. I probably won’t order these again and will just wait for them to be on sale in my local grocery store. ANNOYING.

good tasting

I've bought these venison bars for years, and normally enjoy them. But this last batch I received were absolutely HORRIBLE tasting. Like vulcanized rubber covered up with smoke flavor and way too much salt. I had to spit out the bite I had taken, and wondered if there was something toxic in there... Was this some kind of manufacturing defect? Bad quality control? Downgraded ingredients?? Just another example of Ens#!++ification? These should never have made it out of the factory... I am baffled at how awful these taste compared to normal. Since these are priced like a premium bar, I expect way better quality for the price. Sorry EPIC, I won't be buying again.
