Roho Toilet Seat Cushion

I brought this for my paraplegic daughter and because of her leg atrophy made sitting on the previous hard toilet seat an issue that caused health issues needing hospital care. The Roho Toilet Seat Cushion has been a godsend for her.

After trying the 4 inch thick pad type commode seats and having them wear out in 3 months, I ordered this Roho cushion.My mother is 104 and had been using a Roho cushion on her recliner for a couple of years with great results (no sores!) So after going through 3 pad type seats, we finally saw the light and ordered the commode Roho Toilet Seat Cushion. It took some maneuvering to find the right position to protect the area from further sores but once found, this cushion I would describe as a "God send."A skin breakdown that had resulted from the old pad type cushion has healed and no others have appeared. In addition, it allows my mom to sit for an extended period of time on the commode comfortably and without the risk of further skin breakdown.Have had this cushion now for a few months, and it is very durable showing no signs of wear. I can highly recommend it without reservation.The reason I gave it only 4 stars is that it has to be held in place at the back each time one is placed on it to insure no gap in the protection. A pair of snaps to hold it together would make this the perfect product.

I purchased this ROHO toilet seat cushion with some reservation. The intention was to replace a ROHO toilet seat cushion that has been very disappointing. I was very disappointed that the initial unit sprung MULTIPLE leaks. Of course there is no warranty for sanitary reasons, but considering the price of it, and the fact I consider we take very good care of it, I see no reason for it to completely break down within a year. Please hope that this was a "one-Off" and that the second one is superior or I will be giving ROHO a very poor rating.

This is a really good roho. My son had a bed sore and this was perfect. It left a space behind for it to not get touched. Very portable, you can take it anywhere. Very easy to clean. Does not need to be pumped often.

I have a pressure sore and I really hoped that this Roho toilet seat cushion would help relieve the pressure while using the toilet. But when we pressure mapped it with a specialized unit, the pressure map monitor was showing deep red spots. This means that the cushion was not doing what it should do, to relieve pressure. We tried to add air and remove air, but we could make it go out of red. The main cause are the inner small cells that are just too small to keep enough air and create pressure points. Unfortunately, I had to return it.
