A very nice helmet fits me nice and snug, and the lights and indicators are great 👍

The Lumos Ultra helmet is available at 2 prices. The lower price is WITHOUT MIPS. The higher-priced helmet is WITH MIPS. I opted for the slightly more expensive with the additional protection, which is described as reducing helmet movement and helping to reduce brain movement and subsequent injury in the event of an accident. The additional protective material is inserted inside the helmet and you have to apply this yourself when the helmet is first set up to be used. It's easy and small patches of velcro keep it in place. The helmet itself is lightweight, not too bulky and easy to adjust. The lighting on the helmet at the front does the job of helping increase your visibility and can be set to remain on, or flash. I would say the light is not bright enough to replace a handlebar-mounted light if the thought crossed your mind. The control for the helmet light flashing pattern can be controlled via an app, available for iOS and Android. There is a charging port and button to operate the light on the rear of the helmet. The rear lights look great - very neat and bright, again, increasing visibility on the road. The rear lights also operate as indicator lights, left and right flashing. These are controlled via a supplied add-on for handlebars and are easy to use, with a small beep emitted from the helmet to let you know they are in use. Very handy. The button controller is small and easily attached to the handlebar. As with the front lights, the rear lights have customisation options via the phone app. The left/right indicator control comes with a 2032 battery and is easy to fit. The phone app also provides you with feedback on the batter level of the helmet lights and Lumos actually offers firmware updates via the app, which is connected by Bluetooth to the helmet. The supplied USB-A to USB-C cable will charge the helmet from your typical iPhone or Android charging plug. FYI - There is an optional device, compatible with this helmet, which can be purchased and I think uses an accelerometer to provide 'brake' lighting, to alert anyone behind you that you are slowing down. The helmet is breathable and feels sturdy, offering a level of comfort and reassurance when you're cycling. It's good value for money in my opinion, and hopefully, I will never have to find out just how good the helmet protection can be.

I love this helmet and it's functionality, I'm pleased to say you don't have to use your phone to activate the indicators , it's actually supplied with a button that mounts on the handle bars, very simple to use and initially set up. My only gripe is as a gravel Bike rider that the front forehead sponge is not soft enough and rubs after a while , on the road not bad but while bobbing around off road on gravel and green laneing it is uncomfortable so I'm hopefully going to modify something off my old helmet.

The bike helmet is great as it's quite rare in loughborough it gets a lot of stares,all good.

This is a really good helmet, it's expensive, but has all the safety features you need plus you feel very visible. I'm very happy with my purchase, and feel happier cycling at night

Batteries life very short. It doesn’t announce at least 30 minutes before the battery to finish.

Absolutely a great helmet!

I should say that this halmet is on the expensive side. However, it's quality and more importantly, it's safe. I use the single function a lot while riding my scooter on the road. It's really difficult to take my hand off the scooter handles while on road to sign my direction . This halmets makes signling alot easier without the sacrifice of taking ur hand off the handles. I will recommend it.

Plusieurs années que je l utilise pour du velotaf et franchement au top. Le jour ou il rendra l'âme j'en reprendrai un directement. Niveau sécurité on est bien visible de loin et c'est le principale. Je n'utilise pas la fonction des clignotants car certains automobilistes n'y pretent pas attention .

Top Helm. Mann ist von allen Seiten gut zu sehen. Sitz bei mir recht ordentlich Hatte schon schlechtere. Endlich hat man auch Licht wenn man vom Fahrrad absteigt und in eine andere Richtung schaut als das Fahradlicht. Auch kleine Reparaturen am Rad sind möglich. Blinker funktionieren mit Apple Watch top. Aber warum um Gottes Willen kann das Bremslicht nicht auch mit dem iPhone oder der Watch funktionieren. Braucht man eine extra Fernbedienung. Normal ein no Go bei dem Preis. Vielleicht sollten sich die Programmierer mal Gedanke darüber machen. Trotzdem 5 Sterne. Weil ich die anderen Funktionen als wichtiger empfinde. Würde ihn wieder kaufen.
