The mat is soft (I think they call it a velour texture) spongy and a medium-thick density to the memory foam. It doesn't feel like others I've had where they feel plasticky inside when standing on it, it is spongy-like a memory foam should feel when stepping on it. And the weight, it feels heavier, not lightweight or cheap weight feeling like I've had before also. This one is not the smallest one this seller is offering but larger, a 24 x 36" so it will be a bit heavier than the smaller ones, even a contour mat if they offered that (but they don't for any of the offered colors in the ad, which is odd, as I would've bought it also.) The color is more of a violet burgundy versus a maroon blood red or a brownish red burgundy, and when you swipe across the mat you either get a lighter or darker violet shade of burgundy. The non-slip material is fine on linoleum flooring, sticks like most decent ones, as I've had ones that feel like they have a powder underneath them and slide around, not this one though. The non-slip material's texture is a bit sticky which is what you want—providing you have the proper vinyl flooring. I see many others who complain on the feedback (not just here but on many sites) however, I think what the problem is, is because I see they either have debris on their bathroom floors -or- it's a laminate (plastic) wood grain-look flooring, or a very smooth actual wood flooring. The smoother the flooring the less catch a majority of non-slip material will not attach, adhere or stick to the flooring, that's imo IF I know anything about the texture of a material against another. Also, the mat having a darker gray backing seems like a better idea than white, as likely the typical white on bath mat's backsides are usually white, and won't be dirty looking as quick as a white back would get since that side is on the floor. As to taking the bath mat out of the packaging, it looked just like anyone else's here that complains or doesn't, and again, not just on this site. The trick or the answer to that problem is just to simply put it on an IRONING BOARD and iron it, on BOTH sides to get the creases or bends out of the material, BUT you need to put down two full-size pieces of paper towels before you start ironing ANYWHERE on either side of the mat. I put my iron on med-high heat (I think the cotton setting) and used the highest steam, which shows as three asterisks (***) on my brand iron's temperature dial. Right out of packaging I poked a hole in the mat's transparent plastic, opened carefully with scissors with a little swipe and slide of the scissors (not cutting) it was out of its packaging and on my ironing board -with- my iron already heated up and with water in it (for the steam gusts I was going to give it). When I satrted to iron the mat I repeatedly and constantly moved my hot iron. Do not let the iron sit on the material for more than 2-3 seconds or you will risk melting the colored fabric -or- the non-slip material on the other side of the mat. That said, I did both sides WITH the paper towel so I DID NOT have the iron's surface directly melting the fabric on either side. I moved the paper towel as I went along until I seen no creases or folds and on the edge's on the mat to iron them down I just put the paper towel a bit over the edges of the mat. NO PART of the hot iron touched the mat directly. This took 10 minutes from the unpackaging to being all done, and another 5 minutes to take out/put way my iron and ironing board. The ending result for 15 minutes of my time and money I spent, you can see the results with the photos I've provided on my feedback. I just got the mat today, it was the 24 x 36" size and the tape measurements are shown as well, which are pretty accurate in comparison to the advertisement here. I have ZERO complaints, and I'm pretty finicky and meticulous. All looks good to me and is of a good quality bathroom mat. Hope this helps and clears up some fuss in the negative feedbacks.

Puffy Soft, Clean, Quick Drying, Good Size, Looks Good

This bath rug is so soft and cozy. It looks great and fits exactly where we want it. My only complaint is that it takes a while to get the crease out of the middle of it because of its packaging.

We really like this rug. I wasn’t sure about getting a foam bathroom rug because I didn’t think it would hold up but I was wrong. This was a good purchase and a good idea. It mostly stays in place, may have to adjust here and there but it doesn’t bunch up or get too much out of place. It would be nice if it dried a little faster, but it’s not too bad. Very easy to clean and looks nice in the bathroom. I purchased this one and another size, and they were worth the money.

You may have converted me from typical bathroom mats forever! Super soft and absorbent. Because it does not have yarn the rug maintains the shape. I like that these are sold individually, and not a as set. The pattern gives it a bit of interest. I would love to see a bit more variety as far patterns multicolored.

Wouldn't recommend the 47x20 rug. The packaging ruined the product causing it to be flat and curved. The misshapen rug did not straighten out given time and washing. The three-piece set was perfect being thick and soft. Great product poor packaging of the larger rug.

The appearance is as pictured. It is absorbent and non-slip.

Got it 50% off so it was a super bargain on prime day! Yes its a bit small but perfect for my shower step out space. High quality. No complaints here because i knew the measurements unlike other reviewers who don’t know any better. Highly recommended.
