ALLOWS A ONE USB "A" PORT TO BECOME AN ADDITIONAL 4 PORTS
I PURCHASED ONE OF THESE 4+ YEARS AGO AFTER I DISCOVERED MY NEW COMPUTER ONLY HAD ONE USB "A" PORT NOT AT AMAZON AND THE COST WAS SEVERAL $$$ MORE THAN NOW! (INFLATION REDUCTION???).THAT ONE BECAME "SUSPICIOUS" OVER THE PAST COUPLE OF WEEKS AS I NEEDED TO INSERT MY VARIOUS THUMB DRIVES NUMEROUS TIMES TO GET THEM TO LOAD. THEN LAST WEEK I HAD A TERRIBLE TIME TRYING TO GET THE COMPUTER OUT OF SLEEP MODE AS I USE A WIRELESS MOUSE WITH THE RECEIVER PLUGGED INTO THE HUB. AHA! SUSPECTED THE HUB AND CONFIRMED BY READING OTHER PURCHASERS TALES.SINCE THE "TARGUS" WORKED WELL FOR 4 YEARS, IT SEEMED LIKE A GOOD IDEA TO STICK WITH A "TRIED-AND-TRUE" BRAND.
