Heliocare Ultra-D, Vitamin D and Sun Protection Supplements, 30 Capsules

As someone who suffers terribly from PMLE (often called a sun allergy or prickly heat reaction to sunlight), I’ve struggled with sun exposure for years. For the past 4+ years, even short periods in the sun would trigger a very itchy, boil type prickly heat–type rash on my skin. Once it appears it tends to stick around for quite a while, and I’ve even had it appear on my hands just from driving on a sunny day when they’re exposed through the windscreen. It makes summer days so miserable and I’ve tried so many different sunscreens, strong antihistamines and even spoke to my GP about it, but nothing stopped or helped the reaction. I decided to try these capsules alongside my usual sunscreen routine and, surprisingly, they’ve made a noticeable difference for me. I’ve been able to spend time in the sun without getting the same rash I normally would. Everyone is different of course, but after years of trying different things this is the first product that has helped me manage my sun sensitivity. I still use sunscreen and don’t rely on these alone, but as part of my routine they’ve been really helpful!

I cannot say how impressed I am with this product. I have suffered with PMLE for the last 13 years which causes a painful, itchy reaction from sun exposure and I am also prone to burning. I have taken the supplement all week whilst on holiday in 35 degree heat and haven’t burned or experienced a true PMLE flare up. I have still experienced a very mild flare up on my thighs after a boat trip (usually the worst area) but it has not been painful, bright red or particularly itchy. I have been able to manage this with topical creams on the evening of the boat trip and woke up the next morning without a rash, redness or itching. I have used in combination with my usual antihistamine and piz buin allergy sun cream. Interestingly, my partner who does not suffer with a sun allergy has also taken and the only day he forgot about I take it, he burned badly but upon taking again the redness significantly reduced and he has had no peeling or pain with it. I normally never write reviews but I was just so impressed with this!

Wow what can I say as a long time sufferer of PMLE I thought I’d give them a try and there amazing I havnt had a single break out this summer even in Majorca 100% recommend them

I have PMLE and find these do really make a difference. Still cant go out in the sun, but these have reduced the amount of reactions I get.

Repeat purchase and chose amazon as most competitive price. Use every spring through summer. Helps me with sunny days. Lots of PLME suffers use high dose and recommend this product

I won't be without this. I get prickly heat and look terrible. Take this before a half hour to hour and you will notice the difference. Give it time, then enjoy the sun. It makes all the difference.

Every holiday I make sure I buy Heliocare I don't burn and I don't get any sun spots or lines when I use it!, great privation for skin damage and damage to the collagen, the time I didn't use it I went back burn and with lots of sun spots, so never again!
