Darn Good Belt
UPDATE: Darn AWESOME belt. I regret whining about it not being the Patagonia. After wearing it for a week I learned that it might actually be better! Don’t know how, but the buckle holds better than the Patagonia. It does not slip. Not a mm. in a 10hr day. Upgraded to 5*It’s a very good belt. When I saw this, however, I thought I hit the jackpot and found a copycat of the Patagonia Tech Web Belt. It’s a match in the pics but not the same in real life. First off, the two I received are 1.2” while the Patagonia is 1.5”. You might not think it’s big difference but it is. It’s also not as thick and the buckle doesn’t feel as solid. Luckily, if you’ve never owned the Patagonia belt you might find this one to be fantastic. And for the price, I do recommend this purchase. Just know it’s slightly smaller, in every way, from the Patagonia. On the flip side, you can buy 3 of these for the price of one Patagonia, the buckle seems to hold just as well, and the strap is in no way flimsy. I suspect I will like these just as much once I get used to wearing them.

Requires daily effort to use
The loop is elastic and isn't even attached to the belt. It moves from where it's supposed to be. Sometimes is comes off and I find it on the floor. The buckle is supposed to grab the belt and stay in place by friction. It's difficult to tighten the belt because the buckle slips rather than grabs the belt. You'd think that by now, they'd have figured out how to make a belt that just works.

Very light weight and narrow
Didn't even take it out of the package.

Good choice for casual wear.
The product was promptly delivered and accurately described. This is a light, simply constructed belt that is well suited to casual wear (jeans, khakis, etc.). If you carry a concealed weapon, this is not a good choice because the buckle will slip under the tension of an IWB holster or belt holster. It's a good choice for casual attire.

Keeps Pants Proper
Quality buckle adjusts easily and doesn't pinch my fats. Lightweight but dependable webbing. I've worn this belt around 300 days bicycling to work, to other towns, reading, backpacking, decision-making and a wake and wrestling once ..still it looks nearly new.

Not of good quality
The belt fabric on this is very stiff and would take some to loosen up. The buckle is a bit too narrow width-wise, making threading the belt end into a bit annoying. Could be an excellent belt but for these 2 main issues.

Perfect fit
I'm a 40 " waist. The belt fit me just right,I didn't have to cut it.The buckle is sturdy and the nylon fabric is tough.

Not high quality
I don't know what I expected for this reduced price belt the pictures make it look an awful lot like the Patagonia belt I currently own. The truth is there's no comparison between the two. This one feels like something to give away to Boy Scouts as opposed to something you would actually want to wear with a pair of jeans
