Bird Perch Stand Toy, Natural Wood Parrot Perch Bird Cage Branch

I bought two of these. One to hang in the cage, and the other to stand vertically on top of the cage, for when the birds are free to fly in the room. First thing is that they're absolutely beautiful, very well made, easy to put together and the fixing method is absolutely secure, even for the vertical perch. Our two budgies took to them immediately. They're made out of a very attractive hard wood that, looking at the markings on the wood, also had large rose type thorns. In fact that's something to be aware of. A couple of small thorns were missed by the machine that strips them off. Boy, are they hard and sharp! I removed them with my Stanley knife. Both perches are different sizes. One is bigger than expected, the other a lot bigger than expected. Perfect for cage top. Perfect in all respects, suitable from budgie to medium parrot size and excellent value for money.

Well made item. The perches screw into the upright on concealed metal housings making it very study. The assembled item has a good screw length to be able fix it the top of the cage firmly. I have a large cage with 5 budgies it and they find the item great fun to chase each other around or to simply stand on for a snooze or preen. Recently they have started roosting on it at night and, luckily, given the position of the perches they don’t end up pooping on each other. The item is sturdy enough that I have inserted a hook in the bottom of the stem and attached a 5 ring toy. The budgies seem enjoy that although hanging upside down by one foot whilst chewing on a plastic ring is not my idea of a fun filled day!

An instant favourite for our two buddies. They love the texture and use it to scratch their little heads. They choose this over all their other perch options.

Sturdy perches that screw on easily, wood feels good, livens up the cage nicely. Wish it was a bit longer but other than that it is worth looking into.

I brought this for my lovebird not knowing whether it was going to be too small for him but was pleased to see that it was actually the perfect size for him, he loves to perch on there during the day sometimes leaping from each perch to the next. It's also easy to assemble as the perches' screw into the main one easily and can be attached onto the cage very sturdily

The horizontal perches are too narrow for a cockatiel. It's fine for an occasional perch (in a day cage with other options), but I wanted this for her sleep cage. The vertical stick is fine, so I've repurposed, but wouldn't buy again. Fine for smaller birds, quality was good, just too narrow.

The finches love this perch and play on it regularly! It is sturdy enough and thick enough for them so now I need a bigger one for the doves. The size it is works fantastic for the smaller birds though. It was pre assembled and easy to attach so no complaints on this purchase!

I bought this perch stand for my parakeet, and the size works well for a smaller bird. The natural wood gives him a comfortable place to sit outside the cage, and he started using it after a little time getting used to it. It feels stable and gives him another spot to climb and play. Assembly was simple, and the stand is lightweight enough to move around when needed. Some of the wood pieces are a little rough, so I checked them before letting my bird use it. Overall, it is a nice little perch and toy for a parakeet.

This perch stand is well made and the natural wood looks great, but it’s definitely designed for bigger cages. If your setup has plenty of space, it works nicely and gives your bird a solid place to rest or play. Just keep in mind that in smaller cages it can feel a bit oversized and take up more room than expected.
