can i use this to attach emblems to my car?

I believe that it would definitely hold, as it is two sided tape, but I don't believe it would look professional.

Would this product be okay to use to mount led resistors to the inside metal of body work?

If the surfaces are prepped correctly it should work well. I think 3M has some prep spray or wipes that I used for the surfaces. I used the tape to mount LEDs on four of my motorcycles almost five years ago and all of them are still tightly secured despite the weather and several of them being mounted on hot engine covers.

is this stronger than gopro mounts adhesive?

If I'm not mistaken gopro uses the same tape , if you clean the surface it is going on it will be very strong

how much weight will it hold?

I use it to hold large solar lights to my exterior of house. I use this stuff for a lot of things.
