Pro 2X Speakon to Speakon 50 Ft. True 12 Gauge Wire AWG DJ/Pro Audio Speaker Cable, Pair

I just got these today. I do some DJing. I know there are a lot bad press out there regarding CCA (copper clad aluminum) wire, but I thought I would give these a try since the price is so low. Well, I hooked them up to my 15" speakers and pumped about 200 watts/channel through them for two hours. They work just fine. They did not heat up at all. The volume level seemed as high as my OFC wires, and the sound quality seemed on par too. So, I think they are worth the money. Now, they may not be as durable because I have heard aluminum will not bend as much before it breaks, but I don't plan to use them as my primary wires. I will only use them when I have to add extensions to reach longer runs.

I am happy to say that i am very happy with this product!As a DJ i don’t want to have to worry about my cables not working. These cables have never failed me! In fact i ended up buying 2 more 50 foot ones for longer runs.* great quality wire* ends lock in tightKeep in mind that these cables weigh more than those cheap ones; only get them as long as needed otherwise your roadies are going to be calling you all kinds of bad words.Bottom line: would i buy again? Without a doubt!

Yes the connectors are junk. Yes the wires were so loose one was actually not connected. On that same note...I check the connections on every line i purchase whether it is cheap or expensive. Will I replace the speakon ends? Eventually but not right now, as they do work. Was this super cheap in comparrison to other options yes...so I gave it 4 stars. I could make my own speaker cables but this was a cheap enough alternative.

I agree with other reviews that state these cables aren't very flexible and that the wire isn't of the highest quality. But, these will not be used that frequently so they should be fine for my needs.

Affordable and seem to as well constructed as any other Speaker cable I could find without paying a fortune. Great value.

One of the cables arrived minus the locking mechanism, so that connector will not stay in the socket. These cables are not very flexible, so they would be a pain to deal with in a portable situation. They kink quite easily. I'm using them in a fixed installation, so flexibility is not particularly important, but having a damaged connector certainly slowed down the installation. The good news is I had a genuine Neutrik connector in my tool box, so all was not lost. Next time, I will spend more money and buy cables with genuine Neutric NL-4 connectors instead of Chinese copies. . Getting reliable connectors is worth the money.
