Bought a Samsung to replace a Bosch unit that had broken That I wasn’t impressed with so i sent back. I settled on this much cheaper ciarra hob after as the reviews are mostly good, some people complaining about the noise levels. But mine isn’t noisy at all, you can only hear it if you open the cutlery drawer underneath, and even then it isn’t that noisy. If you had an extractor on, you wouldn’t hear it at all. Honestly it’s low-cost and brilliant I’ve had mine for just over a year

Overall great looking product, very easy to install and use. This is my first induction hob, so I was a little surprised by the two different "noises" it produces when in use: a) fan - from underneath the hub, and b) some additional sounds from the individual heating areas when used. That said, with the frying going on as well as noise from extractor fan, it's turned out not to be as annoying as I thought it would be. Just be aware that if you are not used to your hob producing a sound, I think induction hobs are somewhat designed to do...

This hob was relatively easy to fit, seems quite powerful, and I think is worth the price I paid for it. Differences I am getting used to: - have to hold the on button to turn on instead of tap. (though I guess that is good for safety). - to set (eg)15min you press timer button, press 1, press timer button press 5, press timer button. (I'm used to <> buttons). - the timer does not turn the hob off and is very quiet. (this is an actual disappointment for me) - with just the + to indicate the hob position instead of an outline I find that I move the pan off-centre. If none of these bother you or if yours is already like this then won't be a problem! Do make sure you measure your existing worktop hole as the underneath plastic housing for this was bulkier than the previous hob so was 1 cm to big to fit (plus the previous cowboy hadn't even cut the hole square) - family member came round with a jigsaw and sorted fairly easily.

Easy to replace with old hob as was orderd by correct size. Check your pots and pans are for Induction hobs. Other pots and pans will not work. Great money saver too.

A bit noisy but working very well. It’s very easy to keep it clean. I love it!
