This is a bit expensive but a little goes a long way and it works well. Gives my hair a nice curl.

Performance: This product does exactly what it says it will do, within reason of course. I live in a HIGH humidity area so gel is a must year round. Just to test out this product, I used it with only a leave in and it did really well. I still had some frizz but I expected that. My curls were defined and not shrunk or elongated. I didn’t exactly see a ton of moisture with it, but my hair is HIGH porosity so moisture leaves as quickly as I put it in. It also left me with a ton of volume. My hair is low density, so it’s very thin. I spend a lot of time trying to achieve and maintain volume so anytime my hair is not stuck to my head and showing copious amounts of scalp, it’s a good hair day for me. I originally tried this after searching for protein free products and noticing how TGIN either overtly uses protein or doesn’t use at all. I appreciate so much how upfront they are about their ingredients. I love the Moisture Miracle Mask. It has some heavy moisturizing ingredients but somehow it doesn’t weigh down my hair. It is the ONLY mask that leaves my hair moisturized until the next wash day!! I plan to try this whole line. The fragrance: It’s very rose water like but not overly so. It has more of a clean rose water smell. When I use it on wet hair, the smell doesn’t seem to stick around. However, if I use it as a refresher on dry hair it will stick around until my next wash day. I will continue to use with a gel layered on top but overall I think it’s a great lightweight product. (I made no attempt to fluff or manipulate my hair at all for the photo. This is exactly how my hair looked this morning after pulling it out of a pineapple. It may not look the best to you, but I wanted to show true results without the usual fluffing and perfecting that curlies do before taking selfies. ) Hair Stats: 2C-3B, High porosity, low density/thin, fine and medium texture, protein sensitive-currently dealing with aftermath of severe protein overload that led to breakage, hair fall, and overall damage. Never colored, chemical styled, or heat styled/virgin hair.

This product did not keep the curls in my hair as advertised, they immediately fell out, my hair also felt coarse after use. I was very disappointed with this mousse and do not use it, what a waste of money!

This mousse is holding up well to its previous reviews. I have fine curly hair and it holds my curls all day and it is easy to use. The smell scent is a light rose and is lovely!

I think it worked well to define my curls! It’s felt really nice and worked on my 4c hair!
