Really great little stove. The best feature is how all the parts fit inside the included pot and the pan handle folds over and secures down to keep everything together and not rattling about. However it took me a few mins to work out exactly how to stack everything such that it does fit in the pot - for anyone struggling with this, the photo 4 on the amazon listing shows the order, and don't be afraid to press down quite hard as the gas (if using 230g, 100g fits regardless) needs to "pop" into the notches on the stove and then the whole assembly is short enough to fit into the pan so the lid can go on. One downside is that "un-popping" the gas from the notches on the stove when it has been stored is unreasonably difficult at least on my model - I can imagine this might be frustrating with cold and/or wet hands at the top of a hill. However this may just be specific to my brand of gas. Going from stored to cooking takes just a few seconds and everything feels high quality and premium. The feet that clip onto the gas canister and the fact that the pot secures to the stove means that you end up with a very stable cooking system. The heat exchangers around the bottom of the pot also mean that vastly more heat ends up in the pot so your water is boiling much quicker and with less gas used. The included piezoelectric sparker works well but I'd always carry a lighter in addition just in case. The system is primarily designed for boiling water, so for teas/coffees, and dehydrated/vacuum packed camping meals. The stove comes with a regular pot holder so you can put a frying pan on it and do some regular cooking but the main use is boiling water. Obviously for what it is, a jetboil type system, the size is very good. But it does take up quite a lot of room in a bag compared to the most compact options.

This is a brilliant little device, the size is small but big enough for the job, so great for camping and hiking. The design is really smart, the whole thing packs inside itself to it takes up even less space in your bag or wherever you're carrying it. The speed it heats up water is impressive, much faster than the standard gas hob, which I guess is down to the design and close fitting of flame and pot. Given it is a lot cheaper than the more famous named brand, I've recommended to many people and have bought one for my family member who's massively into their camping.

Being new to camping, I did lots of research into jet boilers/stoves. This one ticked all the boxes, and I definitely made the right decision. It is a high quality, multifunctional and well designed item. The large capacity pot contains everything you will need except the gas. So there is a gas bottle stand, the stove itself, a cooking attachment to use with pans, and of course a lid. If you select a small gas bottle this will also fit inside the pot. Functionally I love the fact that the flame is contained within the base of the pot. The pot simply sits on the stove section, and locks firmly into place with an easy twist and enabling a very secure fastening. Or if you want to use the cooking attachment to do a fry up then the cooking attachment is clipped onto the stove in place of the pot. Water is boiled as fast as a kettle, probably faster. I am not sure if it can be used for any liquid other than water because when I tried boiling soya milk in it, it did leave a bit of difficult to remove residue, but for water and boil-in-the-bag type meals, it's perfect. It is also very sturdy and I have been able to rely on its stability when cooking a fry-up. Being wind proof is also a big plus. The foldable handle clicks firmly into place, and again is very sturdy. To release it for folding up, there is a button to depress at the base. In terms of appearance, it is an attractive item, with matching colours. I opted for the orange one as I like the colour. The heat resistent lining around the outside of the pot prevents any accidental burns by touching the pot while it is hot, and these linings are detachable for washing, and I believe there are other linings you can purchase additionally. In terms of price, it is considerably cheaper than other big name brands, and yet still very high quality. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending it.

For years, I used regular gas stoves and never saw the need for more expensive cooking systems like this one. However, I got the FireMaple X2 at a great discount and tested it over the weekend. Here are my thoughts: - The system is quite compact. However, I couldn't tightly close the lid with a 230-gram gas canister inside. - It's disappointing because this is not how it's shown in the ads and description. I assume there might be slightly more compact 230-gram canisters, but I have a standard one. It’s not a major issue since you still can fit everything inside, but you won't be able to tightly close and secure it. - At 14°C with fairly windy conditions, I boiled 1 litre of water on medium stove heat in under 3 minutes. Impressive. - The package includes not one but three insulating sleeves, which is a nice bonus. - Unlike the X1, this model includes a plastic canister stand, which from experience, is better to have than not. - Compared to the X3, the X2 is slightly larger, fitting a bit more than 1 litre of water. - It's too early to comment on durability since I’ve only used it once. I know common issues include the rubber gasket between the canister and stove tearing quickly, and some users report very slow boiling times. - However, low-quality gas might be the cause of this. A friend who introduced me to FireMaple has been using it actively for 3 years without issues. - The set includes a mesh bag for transportation and a stand for regular pots and pans, although it doesn't lock into place. There's also a piezo igniter, but that's standard on all stoves. In summary, this is a great system and a worthy alternative to more expensive models. A few years ago, friends who own an outdoor gear shop told me that, but I only got to confirm it now. The main advantage of such systems is the significantly faster boiling time compared to regular stoves, which almost always require a windscreen. If portability is important and you consume mostly dehydrated food while travelling, this cooking system is a justified investment. As for whether it's a worthy alternative to a much more expensive and well-known brand – absolutely yes. In terms of build quality, FireMaple is on par with, if not superior to, the competition.

Nice, compact and light to fit my motorbike camping kit, I would suggest getting a small gas canister so it can be stored inside the mug to save space. Used it a couple of times and boiled a brew quickly. Good value, easy to use and reasonable quality. Recommended

This thing is great fun. Its the right size to sit in my backpack or in the car without being too intrusive. The way all the components stack inside the main pot is very nice and satisfying. Though, the tolerances are so tight that the lid will be just a mm or so open if i don't take the plastic cap off my gas can! The pot is generously sized and would boil water for ~4 teas at once. The assembly itself is pretty sturdy on the ground, self lighting, and lightweight. It boils fairly fast too. The main two drawbacks of this are I still need to bring a pan for frying, and that these kind of gas cylinder are a little more expensive than those for the cheaper stoves. I'd still recommend bringing a little metal windbreak.

Hierve, cocina o calienta incluso en condiciones adversas. • Accesorios incluidos: tapa, soporte interno, estabilizador… todo cabe en la olla. • Compatibilidad con botellas universales de gas. • Ideal para no hacer fuego: en épocas de calor extremo o riesgo de incendios, esto es una alternativa perfecta y segura. 💡 Yo además le he añadido el filtro de café con presión de la misma marca (recomendado al 100%) y me hago mi café cada mañana como si estuviera en casa. Es un pequeño lujo en plena naturaleza. 🙋‍♂️ Contexto real de uso: Peso 110 kg, mido 1,85 m, y me muevo bastante cargado cuando salgo. Heel leuk ding Zou het wel fijn hebben gevonden als het gas canistertje ook los verkrijgbaar was. Het merk dat afgebeeld staat is nergens te vinden. En zit er ook niet bij.

Questo fornelletto è perfetto per il campeggio! Fa bollire l’acqua in pochissimo tempo e il pentolino ha la capienza ideale per cuocere la pasta per due persone. Una volta smontato, tutto il set (compresa la bomboletta del gas) si compatta all’interno del pentolino, rendendolo facilissimo da trasportare. Forse non è la scelta ideale per chi cerca attrezzature ultra leggere, ma il peso e l’ingombro restano comunque ridotti. Considerando il prezzo, è un’ottima alternativa a marchi più costosi, con una qualità praticamente identica. Consigliatissimo!
