Kirks, Soap Bar Castile Fragrance Free, 4 Ounce

I have sensitive skin. Over decades I have tried several different products. I like this soap because it removes oil quickly and quickly rinses clear and clean. Kirk's lathers easily and a little goes a long way. I have used both the regular and fragrance free with similar results. This natural soap will melt away when left in water; so I made a place for it out of the shower stream and it now last twice as long. It is easy to marry the last small piece to a new wet bar avoiding waste.

Due to my fragrance allergies, I had been on a long search for a fragrance-free soap. This bar of soap lathers up easily, and rinses off leaving no residue. I plan to only use this brand for the rest of my life.

Kirk's has excellent ingredients - all natural, plant-based. The soap is very gentle. We use the fragrance-free variety. It lathers better than any of bar soap I have used. It compares well with higher-priced, specialty and small batch one. My perception is that it lasts longer than other bar soap. We have used Kirk's products for at least 30 years. I recommend it without reservation.

Works great, no scent to me and cleans without leaving residue like so many other soaps. I just reordered!

Ordered fragrance free and received fragrance. And it was a large order.

I've been looking for a more natural soap option for a while, but most of the "natural" soaps are heavily scented (even with natural scents, I tend to be sensitive), and a couple of other unscented natural soaps that I tried of them had an oily feel rather than a good lather. This one is exactly as advertised: plain old soap, unscented (although it does have a soapy scent of its own.) If you're used to regular bar "soap," you may go through these a little fast at first -- a little goes a long way compared to the big-brand stuff -- but once you're used to it you'll find you don't need nearly as much to get clean, and each bar lasts at least as long as regular bar soap. Edit: still love this stuff, but one thing to be aware of is that Amazon now has multiple listings for this and the one here for a single bar has a ridiculous price -- several dollars for one bar -- when there are much, much better values in multi-packs available under other listings on Amazon.

Living in Texas, we face "hard water" that simply does not lather very well. PTL, but Kirk's Castile Soap is the solution! And, it is so gentle to my sensitive skin, I use it for hand washing as well as the shower. I have never had any skin irritation!

Great product as it’s got pretty natural, basic ingredients and they don’t add nasty extras. We’re on a septic tank which, after many metres, flows into a stream so we need ingredients that won’t harm the bacteria in our tank or the ecosystem. Not true Castile as true Castile is made with olive oil only, but I wanted coconut oil for its extra cleaning properties and the added ingredients enhance performance. The company seems to have honest intentions which is a bonus. As for this seller, they put a great price on this bulk buy which made sure it was enticing enough to buy, all the way from New Zealand! They shipped quickly, too.

The service is fine from the company. I just found that I prefer using liquid castille soap rather than the bar as I found it rather drying.

The product came when predicted and in perfect condition. I'm going to use it to make laundry soap.

This is amazing to clean my beauty blender, or any other sponge, my brushes etc... Plus is way cheaper than the bb cleanser ! Great product for my needs.
