Not worth the price by FAR
Terrible. I went with this item and usually don’t buy product that doesn’t have a review. This is why. The plastic is very flimsy. The notches for the bottom feeder don’t fit. The bitch is too tall to fit into the slot. It definitely does NOT hold 3 lbs of food. This is smaller that the mason jar plastic feeders from tractor supply (which you can get $7 there). I thought that this was going to be twice the size *atleast* of those mason jar feeders. The waterer is crap. The water just floods out of the bowl, leaving a disaster. Don’t buy.

You get what you pay for
Very tiny, very lightweight and very thin plastic. You get what you pay for. Truly, they work well for tiny peeps, but not ideal once they begin to scratch, hop and peck. They knock the feeder over, plus the parts don’t stay screwed together well.

Cute little waterer for baby chickens.
This little chick feeder is cute and versatile due to its size. It is meant for baby chicks, and will be perfect for the next tiny additions to our flock. But in the meantime, we have a special needs chicken who lives in our brooder near the flock. She is there for protection from the stronger girls but space is limited. The tiny size of this waterer is perfect for her. It hangs on a hook at the perfect level for adult chickens to drink from and stays out of the way enough for her to move around. There have been no leaks, and it is easy to clean with water and a small brush. The top screws gently onto the bottom for security of use. I deducted one star because I feel the plastic is a little flimsy and could have been made stronger and more durable. However, being that it is meant for baby chicks it does make sense for the plastic to be more flexible. For a busy new chicken keeper, this little waterer is handy to have around.
