Umbra STAX Four-in-A-Row Table Game for Adults, Brass

Purchased this for my partner who loves connect four. Its a great high quality version of the game that looks nice on display on a bookshelf or in an office. Easy fun game with heavy base so it stands upright well, with little concern of being knocked over. All of the pieces fit in the frame nicely.

While spending a birthday weekend at a boutique hotel my husband and I discovered their lounge area which had one of these 4-in-a-Row games on one of the little side tables. We enjoyed a competitive evening (at least 2 hours) playing round after round of what we've always called connect four. There was wine involved, ha ha, and that heightened our competitiveness. So Much Fun! There was something so glam about the sleek matte gold stand and the translucent and black "checkers." We decided when we got home we'd try to go online and find one for our home. While the traditional red yellow and blue game is fine it does look childish and cheap and just didn't "go" with our style. Our aesthetic in our maximalist decor home is eclectic but classy and we absolutely fell in love with this fancy one and saw the value in spending the money to get this much nicer looking one. Now, most every night after dinner in between commercials we wind the day down by playing and some nights we play more than 5-6 games. It's very addictive. Try it - you'll see! Super happy with this purchase!!

I was looking for a gift that was both functional and stylish. This chic, modern Connect 4 set is stunning. It’s definitely not the plastic one from my childhood. It quickly became one of my teen's favorite gifts, and it looks beautiful displayed in her bedroom!

Beautiful version of Connect Four! The only concern is that some of the discs tend to be hard to put in the slots and take them out after completing a game. Otherwise it’s absolutely beautiful!

Such a good and fun piece! Great addition to our family games. Looks great! Pieces are nice. Only issue we had is that sometimes the pieces get stuck at the bottom and you have to pry them up once rhe game is over. Everyone loved it though.

I have young grandkids who love games of all kinds. This sits on my fireplace mantle & it’s the first thing they go to when they come over. (After the cookie jar). I like the idea of “games as decor” & this game looks like a piece of art…

Ein sehr schönes und qualitativ hochwertiges Spiel. Ich hätte es lieber in silber als in gold gekauft aber es gibt nur diese ein Farbe. Die Steine sind gut gearbeitet und durch ihre besondere Form macht es, Spass sie auf eine ganz andere Art im Spiel zu versenken. Es ist eine kleine Umgewöhnung, die 4er Kombinationen zu "sehen", weil es keine Löcher gibt, die diese vorgeben. Manchmal ist man sich nicht sicher, ob ein Stein in der richtigen Höhe sein wird, wenn man ihn einwirft, um mit anderen Steilen eine Linie zu geben. Insgesamt ein tolles Spiel. Ich habe lange gesucht und kein schöneres gefunden.

J'avais déjà un jeu de puissance 4, mais j'ai craqué pour ce modèle qui a un très beau design. Il est très qualitatif, stable (il est lesté à la base), ne raye pas le meuble sur lequel il est posé (revêtement doux en dessous). Les jetons sont gros et tiennent bien en main. Je recommande +++ pour les amoureux des beaux jeux.

Tenía en mi mente tener de “adorno” algún objeto para jugar con las visitas como tipo gato pero de madera o vidrio, pero esto lo superó con creces, luce muy lindo ocupa poco espacio y esto más entretenido.
