Exactly as described. Checker pieces are on the small side but useable. Board is thicker than I thought it would be after reading some reviews.

The board on this game is very sturdy and folds in half. The checker pieces have groves but need to be deeper because they don't lock together when you want to make a king so it is difficult to keep them together when you want to move the two together . The box isn't very sturdy: very thin.
