Adhesive doesn't stick.
The holder itself is made of metal and is very durable. But the 3M adhesive that it came with wasn't very good. It fell off the same night I installed it. So I just replaced it with some outdoor double adhesive and it now works like a charm. It will fit regular kitchen towel rolls, but the jumbos will probably be a tight fit.
