Easy and cheap fix
This is a great cost effective solution for a clogged or leaking carburetor for your lawn mower. Let’s face it, with repair charges plus parts cost ranging anywhere from $50-150 minimum, it is cheaper to replace the entire carburetor rather then have it serviced. Some gasket kits are more expensive. This unit fits great to replace the OEM unit on my lawn boy push mower. Easy to install and worked perfect.

Perfect fit my 20 year old Lawn Boy. You don't have to remove the intake the back bolt for the carb is accessible.

exact replacement
This was an exact replacement for the carburetor on my old (2006) Lawn Boy mower. It wasn't too hard to put on but watch a video on YouTube to ensure you are doing it correctly.

Works Great!
Put it on and my old mower cranked right up. Ran wide open at first because the throttle valve spring was not on it's stop. Probably spun around in shipping or I hit it while installing. Once I put it back on it's stop the mower ran like new. Note: the old carb had leaked fuel into the crankcase and I had to drain the oil first otherwise the diluted oil would have ruined crank bearings. The new carb was set perfect right out of the box, if you have to make adjustments there is a rubber stopper on the set screw that will have to be removed first.

This carb is great. It worked right out of the box and needed no adjustment. Why buy a rebuild kit when you can buy a new carb for this price? This cab is a great deal.

May need to adjust the idle speed screw.
Just a short note on adjusting the idle screw on this carburetor. Installation was simple however when I initially tried starting the engine I was not successful. After turning the idle screw clockwise I was able to get the mower running. It took several adjustments to get the idle speed to what I was used to with this mower. This is on a lawn-boy self propelled machine with no throttle control. There were no written instructions in the package with the new carburetor.
