Muc-Off Tubeless Valves/44mm/Iridescent V2

Some tubeless valves clog with sealant but the muck off valve’s design seems to work better.

I see many 1 start review saying it leaks or does not work. You need to first figure out which rubber gasket to install for your rim type. This package comes with 3 different rubber gaskets.

Was having leaks with other brand names on my spank wheel. Have a chance to this one and so far no leaks at all. Hope it will stay that way.

These are amazing quality and look great plus they don’t leak air at all. Highly recommend for ur tubeless setup.

These tubeless valves seemed like a well thought out and well designed alternative to generic tubeless valves. Unfortunately, the fit and finish isn't the best. Most notably, the valve cores were not easy to remove. Typically, you just unthread them with a valve core tool and they should essentially fall out. These cores got hung up in the valve body and required a tug with a set of pliers to extricate. It turns out that the white core-seal (Teflon maybe?) didn't want to let go of the valve body. One of the cores came out but left the white seal destroyed and stuck in the body. The other core eventually came out in one piece but the white seal does not look pretty - I would question its ability to seal. Tubeless valves cores need to be removed from time to time - these valves are not going to cut it. I'll also note the thread interaction between the valve body and the nut is poor - doesn't feel all that great. Maybe I got a dud. All I know is that I won't be using theses.

I installed three pairs of these on three wheelsets and found that nearly all of the valve cores ended up being the cause of slow leaks.Replacing them with aftermarket valve cores solved the leaks, which I had on almost every (factory tubeless-ready) wheel.These are pricey tubeless valves and I can't recommend them at all due to this issue.

I purchased a 60mm rainbow set used them for a year and had slow leaks. When I went to remove them, they aluminum had degraded and one broke in two pieces. Muc-Off's customer service replaced them and shipped me a new set for free. I was happy with that.

Though the quality of these valves is excellent they do not fit all tubeless wheelsets. Due to the oversized inside they do not recess into channeled wheelsets and therefore prevent the tire from seating on the rim. So if you have a wheelset such as the Ultegra 6800 or similar that take a squared washer inside, and the rims are narrow these just aren't for you. Nothing against the actual product just not universal so be aware of that.

Easy to mount but I had a bit of issues with the valve insert clogging due to sealant. However, they can be easily cleaned or replaced with any standard valve insert.
