Yes this splits the signal so you have the same image on 2 screens. I use it for DJing so I can have the videos on the screen behind me and then on the other screen at the opposite end of the bar

It will split any standard HDMI signal. If the Sky Q box outputs HDMI, I would think this unit will split it.

will this work on virgin 360 box ?
