Bluebird Provisions Chicken Bone Broth Powder - 11 g Protein - 1 Ingredient

I'm really impressed by this product. Finally, a bone broth that is free of vegetable, yeast, and flavor additives! The powder is super convenient; I don't have to worry about using up a carton of liquid before it spoils, and can take it while traveling. It's great to sip as one would enjoy tea. I think it is delicious with salt. For those commenting about poor smell/flavor, consider that a significant component of what we attribute flavor to in savory foods is salt, particularly something that is animal-derived. Add a proper amount of salt (as the directions on the bag state) and it is every bit as tasty as other bone broths. If you're expecting the complexity of vegetables and seasoning, consider adding those yourself. But I am extremely grateful that someone has produced a broth without vegetables for those wanting to be purely carnivore, or who may be sensitive to certain plant foods. I very rarely write reviews unless I find the product to be exceptional, and this product is exceptional! I know bone broth has many health benefits, so over the past few years I have tried several brands of powdered bone broth, and several brands of liquid bone broth, some of which were very expensive. Even though some brands had many great reviews I wasn’t impressed, especially considering the high cost! This brings me to my current finding of Bluebird Provisions Bone Broths. I didn’t really expect it to be any different than the others since it had only one ingredient dried chicken, or beef, bone broth. However, the first cup of this chicken broth I was honestly impressed! It was honestly pleasant tasting! I just added a little Himalayan Pink Salt, and a dash of cumin and I actually enjoyed this! Plus, instead of my usual cup of herbal tea in the morning I find I look forward to my cup of bone broth, and since I have IBS-D it seems to really be calming for my stomach. Infact, the other morning my stomach was feeling very uncomfortable, and a few mins after drinking my Chicken Bone Broth the pain went away. I have only been using it a couple of weeks, so the only health benefit so far is soothing my stomach was, which for me is very important.

I was skeptical of buying because a lot of reviews said this was flavorless. It does not have a very strong flavor like bouillon would. However, adding salt definitely does enhance the flavor and makes it much better. Could add more powder to make the flavor stronger. Mixes well. This is a great product if you’re looking for something with all natural ingredients. I add all natural hand harvested mineral salt to mine so I don’t mind that it doesn’t have added salt. I intend to use this for fasting. Could add flavorless electrolytes to this.

Eww. This is just awful. I’ve tried adding herds and spices or salt and blech. If you’re looking for a glycine source, this does not gel so save your money: buy glycine I poached a game hen, cooled it and removed the meat for my dog. Then reduced the broth with carcass. That does gel and tastes good Make your own. I’m not sure how the maker intended this product to be used but it is just awful. 😣 Must be only for profit. Read the nutritional information. You’re getting a lot of sodium and potassium. Not everyone can safely use this. Just get some salt. Much cheaper. Consumer beware!

I started drinking this in the morning before breakfast for a week now. I add a pinch of cayenne pepper, pinch of Himalayan salt & ground turmeric. Taste is pretty good, it does take a lot of stirring to get the clumping of the powder out, it helps to let it sit for a minute after stirring as instruction state. I haven't notice any changes as of yet. It is a bit pricey but I'll give it a chance!

By far the best bone broth!!! Ive tried many brodo to kettle and to many, this one taste the richest and dissolve so well!!!

I didn’t think it was grainy but it definitely taste and smells disgusting. I had to clinch my nose and suck it down fast. Definitely made me gag a few times. It’s still a cheaper alternative than most brands and has clean ingredients but if you’re prone to gagging, might want to think twice. I had a scoop of flavorless collagen to it for extra benefits.

I rarely write reviews but this product deserves it. It is a little on the pricey side (almost didn’t purchase because of this), but it is absolutely worth it! I have tried about 10 different chicken bone broths and disliked the taste and I love this one. I also have a metabolic condition where I need to avoid fructose so I really appreciate that it only has one ingredient. It’s safe for me to consume. Now I don’t need a whole bunch of containers of the bone broth I used to buy at Trader Joe’s. It’s better for the planet too. Win win! If you are on the fence, I recommend going for it! I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. Also, I add a little sea salt to it since it’s sodium free & it really brings out the flavor. I hope this company continues making this product the way they are! It’s a gem! 10/10!!!

I really like this bone broth. Flavour is mild and I add my own spices (salt, pepper, turmeric, etc) based on my preference that day. I prefer adding my own as opposed to having those ingredients added at source, that way I control my sodium. I mix the powder into a paste with a little cold water before adding hot water and it mixes well. Will buy again.

This is a great tasty pure bone broth. Great quality and flavour. Healthy product.

Bone broth is tasted a a seems to mix well. I add Italian seasoning and our own garden minced garlic in olive oil mix and a little Salt and pepper. Very tasty bedtime Or anytime drink. I am Currently on a two week restrictive liquid diet and this is a treat for me. Four stairs due to pricey

This product is maybe the third bone broth powder I have tried and so far I do like the price, and the ease of use. It takes about two minutes to fully integrate into the boiled water, with minimal leftover over clumps. The flavour is a bit bland but they do have a free online guide to dress it up for sipping. I’ve added some Himalayan salt so far and that satisfies my morning warm broth desires. Overall, a great starter powdered broth for anyone interested in adding a little more collagen to their routine.

I'm sorry to say that this product is just not for me. Even though I did what others have suggested, adding salt and spices, it just doesn't work for my taste buds. And my stomach just wasn't happy with it either.
