10U Steel Rack Rails Kit with Hardware - 2 Pieces (10URR)

These 10U rack rails worked well for my project and were a good solution for building a custom rack setup without having to buy a full enclosure. The rails feel sturdy, the black finish looks clean, and the included hardware is a nice bonus. Having threaded holes also makes mounting equipment much easier since you do not have to deal with cage nuts. Installation was straightforward as long as you take your time measuring and keeping both rails square and level. Like most rack rail projects, alignment matters, so I would recommend laying everything out carefully before tightening everything down. Once installed properly, they do exactly what they are supposed to do and provide a solid mounting point for rack equipment. For the price, this is a very useful kit for a home network rack, AV setup, studio gear, or a small custom cabinet build. I would buy these again for another DIY rack project. Exactly as expected. Screws were correct. Rails are plenty sturdy. Would recommend.

Good quality, should meet my needs perfectly. Added to the rear of my AV cabinet, allowing shallow shelving and assisting with cable management. Very nice.

Box showed up crumpled but everything inside survived undamaged. Rails are super sturdy and will be even sturdier once I actually build them into a box. Screws work and thread correctly. Fits my power conditioners, vintage rack synths and the shelf for my tape machines perfectly! Only wish it had come with washers. Would buy again!

Perfecto para mi proyecto

I built 2 5RU boxes for my studio. So I just bought this and used a hack saw to cut em exactly in half. Worked out great. I may make more, I'm thinking a 4RU and 6RU. Good value.

While good quality metal and sturdy… the fact it doesn’t come with washers or hex nuts means , even if you screw the mounting screws in… the hardware will not be secure til you buy your own hex nuts / washers to do it yourself… it’s literally free floating on the racks with just the screws

These are rubbish, i have installed these into a standard 19” rack housing however they are not as wide as they should be in order to fit 19” units onto them. Should also point out that they use screws included to fix items onto them and as such standard rack nuts and bolts do not fit. These are not much use for anything besides recycle

Bohrungen mit Gewinde sehr ungenau die Farbe ist total billig. Schrauben sind die schlechteste Metall-Ausführung die es gibt.

To anyone reading the other reviews leaving negative comments, ignore those. These are easily more than adequate for any equipment being rack mounted. The steel is perfectly thick enough and not flimsy in the slightest. As for the holes not being pre-threaded, that is why it is supplied with self tapping screws. An if they are not good enough you could always "tap n die" the holes already drilled out, to give them a thread. 10/10

Les trous ne sont pas filetés. Apparemment, en forçant les vis ca forme un filetage mais ca doit pas être très propre. Sinon il existe des écrous enfermés dans une cage clipsable, ca existait sur des vieilles baies. Mais du coup, les vis fournies sont trop grosses.... Bref, prévoir votre visserie. Sinon, les grosses visses à bois fournies pour les côtés peuvent suffir pour racker du matériel léger, ça tient à peu près, en attendant de trouver mieux.
