Does this protect from an EMP blast?

Your key will work fine if it is in the pouch. However, your car will not, unless it is underground or in a heavily shielded building. Of course, that depends on the type of EMP effect. Can the pouch be attached to a belt, as in the advertisement picture; or, is that fake?

It's fake. I was attracted to that feature, but there is no way to attach it to a belt. The pouch is pretty big and it has only a small clip. You can clip it to a belt loop but it takes some doing.
