I’ve been very happy with this omelet maker. I use it regularly when I get a hankering for a quick, easy, and delicious omelet, and it does exactly what I bought it for. Instead of dragging out a pan, standing over the stove, flipping eggs, and then dealing with the cleanup afterward, this makes the whole process much simpler. It is especially easy to use. Once it’s ready, I can add my eggs and fillings, close it up, and let it do its job. The omelets come out nicely cooked, and I like that it makes the process feel more consistent than using a frying pan. It is a nice little appliance for those times when you want something better than a bowl of cereal but don’t want to turn breakfast into a full-scale kitchen campaign. Cleanup is another big plus. The non-stick surface makes it easy to wipe down afterward, which is honestly one of the main reasons I keep using it. A kitchen gadget can work great, but if cleaning it is a pain, it usually ends up shoved in a cabinet like it offended somebody. This one has earned its spot because it is simple to use and simple to clean. It is also compact enough that it doesn’t take up much space, which matters if you don’t want your counter slowly turning into an appliance museum. Overall, this is a very handy product for anyone who enjoys omelets and wants a fast, easy way to make them without a lot of mess.

Now that I have this in my life I simply won't be able to live without it. I love omelets. As somebody that has no culinary skills this is the answer to my prayers. It's so simple and makes great omelets. I'm on the keto diet so I use this at least twice a day. Just know that your omelets are going to be a bit different than what you get on a pan, the outside is going to be brown and the omelet is more "cake-like" than what you may be used to. Doesn't bother me, still tastes delicious! This is for quick and easy omelets that are tasty, if you want diner quality you should probably go to a diner or get your pan out. It only takes me about 5 minutes to cook my omelets. I see others say 8-10 minutes but all I know is that for my grill, it's perfectly done in about 5 minutes. But I do have my own strategy that I provide at the end of the review with tips. I want to add that I read a lot of reviews for this product since I wanted to be informed. Reading the negative reviews, it does seem that there may be some kind of inconsistency with the heating element for some people. I saw people complain about burnt eggs or it taking too long or a runny middle. I have none of those problems with my unit. If you are experiencing these problems you may want to return it or read my tips, they might help you. This is definitely something I would recommend to anybody that wants quick and easy eggs. However, if I could give it 4.5 stars instead of 5 I would, only because there is some room for improvement. For one, this thing gets real HOT. Do not touch the outside of this unit ever when it's on or you will get burned. Keep anything away from it while it is in operation. Also there is no power button or switch so you have to plug it in every time. I use an extension cord, just makes it easier for me to do this. Also there isn't a timer or anything, you just have to pay attention and figure out the timing on your own. Last, there does seem to be inconsistency for some people on how long it takes to cook the eggs, that makes it a bit harder to recommend to others not knowing what they might get. Now that said, let me get straight into the tips on how to make a good omelet with this maker! First- Use a jar to shake up the eggs and spices. Don't add your ingredients in the jar, just the eggs, it just makes the shaking take longer. It's a personal preference but why make more work than you have to by dirtying dishes? After you are done simply stick the jar in the fridge, or if you are done with the maker for a while, rinse it out and put it away. Second- Use 3 Eggs total for both sides AND use two tablespoons of water. Yes you read that right, WATER. Add the water to your jar when you are going to shake the eggs up. This is going to puff up your omelet real nice. Mix it all together in the jar. Third- With your grill already pre-heated, fill both sides of the grill with your mixed egg, BUT only about half way. Then add your ingredients directly into the eggs on the grill. Have your ingredients ready so you're not wasting time while the eggs are cooking. You don't want to overfill and this prevents that because you can stop adding ingredients if you are approaching the top of the fill line. If you have more room after adding ingredients, top off with the rest of the egg mix in your jar. Again, you can bring it right to the edge, just don't go over it. Close the lid. Fourth- Wait for the grill lid to start rising. If you did it right you should see the lid rise slightly. For me this takes about 3 minutes. Once the lid has risen on its own a fair bit, pull up the lid all the way and poke a hole directly in the middle of both omelets. They should both look pretty big at this point. Just a slight hole with something like a knife. This helps cook the middle a bit better and doesn't deflate the omelet. Place the lid back down. Fifth- At this point I usually just have to wait about 2-3 more minutes. I then remove the eggs with a rubber spatula and I get a perfect omelet every time!

Mix two eggs. Melt a bit of butter directly on both sides of the pan. Perfectly fluffy omelette. Feels a bit flimsy- unsure how long it will last. Top already has burnt residue that is hard to clean. And won’t use any harsh de-greasers, which will affect the quality of the nonstick surface.

I don’t know how long it will last but I’m sure going to enjoy it!!! Did my first time of an omelet using spring onions, sliced baked potato that was a leftover from last night, sharp cheddar and a squirt of whole grain mustard. Didn’t expect much because of how they end up in a microwave. Cooked for 6 minutes, and it came out so fluffy felt like a pro did it. And tasted great. Next approach will be… muffins! And I’m curious about maybe brownies could come out great. Cleaned up easy with just a wet paper towel and I appreciate the two lights. Especially the one that says it’s on. Rather than others where you could absently leave it still plugged in with the light on and off. It doesn’t take much space on the counter. So far I really do love it

This product does, indeed, make excellent omelettes albeit they are a bit on the small side. It would be fine for one person but the size might be a bit skimpy for two people. The omelettes come out perfectly and they are nice an fluffy - very tasty with the additions. I use cheese and onions with either some spinach or some bean sprouts. There is more than enough for one person but here is the problem. It is barely enough for two people. It is fine if you use 2 eggs and add other ingredients but that means that each omelette will be made with just one egg. Three (3) eggs is OK if you use no other ingredients. For one person, using one side for eggs and the other side for frozen hash browns, it would probably be just fine as long as that person is not a very big eater. It would not be fine, however, for say a teenager or a young adult male. The portions are going to be too small in that case. If an adult couple is planning to go camping and use this devise in an RV or camper, they are probably going to need two of them. It takes about 6 minutes or so to cook the omelette and a side of hash browns. This food is going to get cold if you wait another 6-7 minutes to cook the food for the second person in round 2. If two people want to sit down together and eat breakfast at the same time, it would be best to bring along two of these devises. It would be fine if the couple is going to cook the two omelettes in this devise and use a second item, such as a frying pan or electric griddle to make the hash browns or pancakes or whatever the people are going to cook to serve with the omelettes. The omelettes it makes are really nice BUT this is not the item to buy for purposes of serving hearty eaters. If you are going to be using this devise to make omelettes for persons with hearty appetites, plan to also bring along or use at home a large frying plan - electric or stove top - to make lots of hash browns or lots of pancakes to go with the omelettes.

I finally tried out this omelet maker today. I followed the instructions for an omelet (2 eggs, chopped peppers, shredded cheese, salt, pepper) and I followed the directions on cooking time (10-12 minutes). After about 10 minutes I lifted the lid (sadly, there is NO indicator, either by light or by sound, that tells you when it is done). Let's say that the omelets were a bit overcooked. (I still ate them.) And by "omeletS", I mean that the 2 eggs etc. filled both cavities of the omelet maker. I'll try it again, but this time take a look at it after about 8 minutes. The flavor was also somewhat lacking in the omelets. When I make scrambled eggs (with peppers and cheese), I add butter and half-n-half. I don't know how well the half-n-half would work out, but the next time I try this, I'm definitely adding butter to the mix. 3 stars because it works, but only 3 stars because this gadget REALLY needs a "done cooking" sound alert. (My waffle maker has one - why doesn't this?) Also the veggie omelet recipe is rather tasteless (needs butter!).

For the price, this is a great buy! Easy to use, easy to clean up! I’m very happy with this product!

Fantastic little appliance! Works extremely well, so easy and convenient to use! Clean up is a dream. Excellent value for more than reasonable price, would definitely recommend.
