The short: It worked for cleaning out the nozzles in my situation. This is cleaning filament to help clean out stuck or caked on pieces of old filament inside of your nozzle. It will generally only work if you have a partial clog. If you notice that your printer is under extruding, then this may help clean out the partial clog. This is the best solution that I've found to get rid of partial clogs. I can usually get rid of a partial clog with 1 or 2 passes. I was able to get it to work with a full clog, meaning that I could not push any of the old filament out. I was able to clear it out with this stuff and a hot needle. It took me many passes of heating and cooling my hot end. It took a lot of patience, but I was able to do it without taking everything apart. Your mileage may vary. This will NOT help you if you have a piece of broken filament stuck (which sometimes happens). You will need to figure out a different way to clear the clog. I would recommend anyone that 3d prints frequently to pick up roll. It will last you a very long time.

All the bad reviews must not be doing it right. Also, I don't use the extruder when I've got a known problem with extruding (whatever the cause) as some seem to... I've been using this stuff as a matter of maintenance for over a year now. I just pull as much as I need out from the ties without undoing them all. Makes no sense some people are doing that and then complaining about it when it's not necessary. Anyway, I'll admit I neglected the maintenance of my printer a but and ended up with a pretty nasty clog and a failed print. I thought I was going to need to disassemble everything it was so bad. Nope! Just some perseverance and a couple cold pulls with this stuff and everything runs like new again. I'm seriously amazed how well this worked. Highly recommend!

This filament does a great job cleaning out the nozzle. Amazing all the little specs of filament it picks up and removes.

No complaints on the cleaning performance... does a good job on my Bambu printers, feeds well, gets gunk out of the nozzle. The packaging, however. Take it out of the package and wham, instant bird nest. If you want it on a spool plan to spend some time and have patience in getting it there. It can be done, but it takes some effort.

I was looking for solutions to my adhesion issues on my printer. A lot of prints had lines that lifted, or just would print spaghetti. After leveling my printer countless times, cleaning my build plate and checking my slicer settings, I came across coldpulling and nozzle clogs in my search for fixes. I ordered this filament, so that I could try coldpulling and feeding it. Fixed my problems instantly. 100gs is more than enough, as I'm yet to get to half of this spool.

This worked really well. I used this to perform a warm pull after flushing old filament.

Seems small, but each usage only goes through maybe 6 inches of it, so this will last a long time. Very easy to use, just push it through until all the gunky bits are out.

Cleans out the nozzle pretty well, I would recommend heating the nozzle about 200°C, then extrude quite a lot (to replace the leftover filament in the nozzle). Then let it cool while pushing the filament a bit. Let the temp drop to like 75°, then pull. A cold pull makes the filament stick to any gunk in the nozzle EXTREMELY well. Plenty of filament for the price, you won't need more for a really long time.
