Film was very easy to install. I added a few drops of Dawn dish soap to the spray bottle of water, as several others had recommended, and that worked well. The film was about 1/4" too short for my window, so I started at the bottom and worked my way up, leaving the small gap at the top where it is hardly noticeable. It has been up for several weeks now and is still holding perfectly, so I’ll be ordering a third piece for the top window. This replaced some janky-looking curtains that were originally covering the windows. My cats enjoyed pulling those curtains down, but so far, they haven’t bothered the film at all. It looks much cleaner and provides the privacy I wanted.

Easy to install and look nice!

Searching for the right window frost treatment was months in the making - until I finally stumbled into this one. It was the best value among those I tried (and yes I tried several vendors). It was easy to install. Clean the window first (Windex) , apply the soapy water solution (eg Dawn), promptly install the cut-to-size piece of Coavas, and promptly use a soft textured scraper (I used a cork-bottomed beverage coaster) to gently scrape out the unavoidable bubbles that will form, and Bob’s your uncle! A little skewed to left or right? You can use your hands to reposition the coating material. The result was great. The smudges and dirt were mine. Had to install at night and in the dark so neighbors could not see inside my living room while i was installing. Have an entertainment system I did not want prying eyes to see from outside. You can’t go wrong with this product. Oh. And a little pro tip: use two pieces of 2-inch long scotch tape to separate the main sheet from the backing. After one or two tries, you will feel like an expert. Good luck!

Needed something to cover the sidelight windows in our new door. Looks frosted. I used one roll of film for this job. I found that it was easier to measure the window space first then cut the film to that exact size. (The first piece I didn’t trim it until I put it on the window and it took longer) The two pieces of separating tape didn’t work so I had to keep rubbing the corner with my nail to get it to eventually separate from the backing. Had to keep spraying the window to keep it wet while I was readjusting the film. I think it looks great and I love the frosted look.

I did a before and after picture of the difference , i think it looks good ( from a far ) I would say it’s not toddler friendly because mine has already tried to peel it off. And it comes right off easily. I got tired and honestly it’s very frustrating to put on so I’ll finish it tomorrow haha. It’s probably a user error because everyone else’s reviews were great
