This functions exactly as I wanted. Open the door and just like the refrigerator, the light comes on. The double sided tape makes it really easy to install. Very inexpensive low voltage (12 volt RV) control is perfect. These are really small so can be installed in very minimal space.

Worked perfectly for our appliance garage cabinet door. Super easy to install and it exceeded my expectations. I thought about a motion sensor or physical switch but this magnetic one was perfect!

So far so good. These seem to be a replacement for other switched I’ve purchased. They are physically the same size and operate the same. Word of warning though, do not over current these or they will likely be damaged.

Nice that these magnetic switches can be configured in NO or NC. Screws included for hard mount installation, no sticky pad on backside of them. Little trick with these is to use double sided tape for initial install to align them, when set right then drill for screws. Good replacement for worn out magnetic door switch on my coach.

When I first got this, the package had been re-labeled and contained only two switches not three -- based on the number of screws in a sub-bag within the main bag, it's clear that the original package was meant to have two. Amazon made good, once I contacted them, and sent me a replacement package with three, and as expected, the little screw bag had more screws. So if there's only two, complain! That said, these are not ideal. (At least the items in the first bag -- I have not experimented with the 2nd three, but they look identical to the first two.) The position of the fixed magnet to affect the reed switches is HIGHLY problematic. I wound up using a large rare-earth magnet of my own as a trigger because it was MUCH more reliable than what came with these.

does not work. it turns on with the circuit but when you move the magnet close, it does not open or close the circuit whichever NC or NO you connect
