This is the perfect lightweight folding chair for music gigs. It only weighs 4 pounds, has a latch to hold it in the seated mode, and a nice comfortable seat and back pad. The pic looks like the back is slanted too much but it’s actually just right for support while holding a guitar or mandolin. Folding it back requires pulling a little latch which was tricky at first but easy when done correctly. It’s very sturdy for such a lightweight and small footprint.

I'm a guitar player and this is a nice blend of comfort, portability, stability, and value. Probably not as good as a stool that costs much more, but it works well for me.
