Leary at first - but this is a top quality unit. Lightning procedure different from what I was used to - safety features are outstanding. Had to customize a mount for it as it was not a direct replacement. Very happy with this unit.

Didn’t work well due to valve holes for the gas fittings

This is truly a great product, however I had to return it since I could not make it fit my fire pit.

Works great when installed correctly. Everyone that has issues with staying lit should check their thermocouple location needs a steady flam source.

First, the mounting plate was intended for specific and not universal dimensions. The mounting holes should have been slots and the plate larger, to allow for various sized OEM mounts. I was able to use the valve, but only after very significant modification to the OEM mounting plate. I had to buy another pilot generator because the one supplied had a different mount than the OEM Napoleon model that I have. Similarly, the spark igniter supplied requires a separate ground wire, unlike the original. Fortunately, I was able to reuse this part.Not recommended. Look very closely at the parts you are trying to replace first and buy them separately.

It comes with no instructions and no mounting hardware. If you don't already have a proper place for this to fit, it can be difficult to fabricate a proper mount for it.Finally got this all setup and it doesn't even work. Press in to turn on gas, light it and let go of the know and it turns off. Only stays lit if you hold the know in. Total garbage. Don't waste your money!

Replaced a broken valve on fire pit
