Good Enough
Material quality is sub-par but good enough and good for the price. Took off a star because there is a small hole in the right rear pocket. Seems wrinkle free. Would buy again.

Nice trousers, comfortable and stylish
First of all, I always consider price when purchasing an item. I saw these were very reasonably priced for what were normally retailing at around $75 and that was really the impetus for my purchase. Quality at a great price. These fit exactly as I would expect a nice pair of trousers to fit. They were true to size, draped properly (if pants can drape) and the zipper doesn't bulge out like on some cheap pants. I will have to hem them because I am a little shorter than I am fat but I expect that with all pants I buy. The comfort band is a really nice feature and will allow me to lose some wait and even gain a little (heaven forbid) and should stay comfortable as I ebb and flow in my weight. The construction seems typically high quality Van Heusen to my inspection but I am not atailor, just a guy who wears pants quite often. Anyway, if the price drops again, I'll buy another pair.

black vs grey crosshatch
Ok..I purchased the black and grey versions of the same pants and they are night and day in how the "crosshatch" pattern appears. By that, I mean the black pants have no crosshatch pattern in them since they are black pattern on black pants. The crosshatch isn't a raised pattern like other pants I have that are crosshatch. In other words, you won't see a pattern in these black versions at all.Now for the grey ones. You will see a subtle crosshatch pattern in them but it IS subtle. Both are comfortable, fit well, the pockets are well positioned. The rise isn't high or short, it's a reg rise and I'm a big guy and it covers everything back there. The elastic waist is nice. It seams to have more belt loops than most pants. Kind of overkill but not a flaw.

Good Quality, Wrinkles Fall Out...
I wore these for the first time today. These are good quality, as you'd expect from Van Heusen. One thing I really like is there are a lot of belt loops... I have to wear suspenders--I use the Perry type that slip over the belt--and the extra belt loops ensure the pants stay pulled up evenly all the way around.I wish the fabric was a little thicker... it's quite thin, like you'd find on a suit. That being said, wrinkles fall out of them if you hang them up right out of the dryer, while the front crease stays sharp.Decent slacks, but I'll probably look for something a little more substantial with winter approaching.

Love these pants! Great for the Big guy or the guy who needs more "space" for the boys!
This is my 5th purchase of these pants! I had purchased 50x30's in the past and they have been great but I have recently lost weight and im down to a 44x30. With some pants, as you change sizes the pants themselves are not as comfortable. Not with these. These are GREAT for the guy that needs a little extra room in "them places" :) the leg lines look great and the fabric is really comfortable. Best of all, In the 4 years of wearing these for work, i have NEVER had to iron them. Even my mom (who is a certified Ironing Nazi) was like, who ironed your pants and my response was the dryer! Its rare I find clothes I really like and feel comfortable in. These pants are just that.

Prefect COMFORT for SHORT CHUBBY business attire!
These pants are SO COMFORTABLE, to ME, it feels like I'm wearing pajamas! When I say pajamas, it's NOT cuz their baggy, it's the COMFORT I look for in my work environment. They are thin, which they do NOT make me sweat. And I do sweat allot as I'm busy moving around at work in a furniture store.I read the reviews before purchasing because it's VERY hard to find 48x29 and comfortable at that. Pants I buy have a long hanging crotches which causes irritability! I am a female and these pants ARE MY favorite! I had to hem them up a bit and taper them cuz I'm picky. I was going to repurchase them BUT they went from $14.99 to $64.94. That's a BIG increase. If the price drops at least in the 20's OR 30's they are worth the buy for the comfort...

Great looking, comfortable and they last for years.
I first bought these pants several years ago, and they just last and last. They look great, and hold up well. The fabric breathes so they stay fresh. The waist band expands with elastic at the sides which makes it easy to fasten them, and always comfortable. They can be washed in regular washing machines and I have even worn them with suit jackets. The only thing I wish I could figure out, is how to keep my wallet from wearing out in the back left pocket. But it takes a couple years of wear to do that, so I guess I get more than my money's worth from these pants. I have bought 8 pairs so far, and will definitely be buying more.

This pant was great in the rise and the leg
I've been looking for pants with a bit more rise than normal slacks these days. Plus, my calf is a bit larger than most, and the current pant leg style is for slimmer fits. This pant was great in the rise and the leg. The stretch waist was a bonus, as it wasn't prominently promoted on the site. But, it really helps the fit. Four stars for now, but could grow into five if it wears well. (I need to get them shortened, as they didn't have my length in stock.)

fit is perfect
I used to have all my pants tailor made in the past, not anymore. I have purchased 3 pair of these Van Heusen pants now and each pair has fit pefectly, a tailor couldn't have done a better job. I bought a couple of pair of Haggar's and found the crotch was too high, not so with the Van Heusen's crotch is about 1 inch lower extremely comfortable. Nice fabric weight also, not to light or heavy.I mean they are cheap pants but you won't find a better pant guaranteed.
