Not very bulky, yet it’s velevety soft so the plushness makes it a bit bulkier than flat Yarn. Don’t know exact yardage but it’s a nice amount

how many scains of this yarn would i need to crochet a blanket for a 3 year old boy, dimensions 3 feet length and 11/2 feet width?

I am not sure as it would depend on size of needle, patterning etc..., but usually customers buy 2-3 for a small crib blanket, 3-5 for larger blankets.
