When I try to watch Netflix from my phone with an hdmi cord, there is no picture and only sound. Is there a way to fix this?

Netflix Hulu and Amazon Prime are all locked so you can not use them with an hdmi cable and your data plan on android or iPhone. To do what you want you need a laptop with windows or chrome os, download the streaming services app, and it allows you to download videos to watch later with out WiFi. I know that defeats the purpose, but it is not the projector it won’t work on a tv either. I’m getting one to use as a monitor for a raspberry pi computer.

Does google chrome cast work with the projector?

if your connect the chromecast through the HDMI and the usb it works fine for me. I have a gen 2 google chromecast.
