South Bend SB501DX Insulated Bait Holder Multi

For $12 this is a must. Was so tired of stopping fishing, to walk back to get another bait, and start again just to fling it off and do it again. The only thing I don’t like is that the lid doesn’t stay perfectly

This bait holder does keep a small amount of bait frozen or cold for a 2-3 hours. It works fine if not using much bait.

These are great for holding bait! I searched all over for these after I saw a fellow fisherman using one. The foam, the shape, and the size all make it a must!

Works perfectly for our fishing adventures. Keeps our night crawlers safe and sound before they get impaled and drown. Perfect size to dump a whole styrofoam container into with dirt and all. Not sure i'd use the belt clip but it does keep the container from getting smashed now.

If you are using this and want to attach it to the belt on your waders, it will work! It actually will clip to any belt regardless if that belt has connectors on both ends. No need to attempt sliding a belt through the holes.

The clip is not strong enough, causing it to slip off my swim bottoms. To ensure latch was engaged you needed to not just close the lid, but push down on the latch to make sure it was closed. Trying to hold your rod and fish all while checking to make sure the holder was on my swim bottoms and checking to make sure latch was catching is too much for me to bother with.

Very nice design with a styrofoam liner. Keeps worms fresh and secure. However, the plastic latching setup is sketch and does not close securely every time, AND the closure should actually be to the out facing side of the box. Clothing and gear get caught up when I am attempting to close it when it is right up against my side. The belt clip is not the best either, the box comes off almost every time I bend down (and I am not a big person). I wanted to love it, but it fell short for me.

worms stay lively

I needed a container to keep my worms alive while ice fishing. This container has a styrofoam liner which prevents contents from freezing and does the job. The belt clip-on is a nice feature for it allows you to carry bait around while going to tip-ups.

Great tackle holder box except it should open opposite to the clip as it's to close to your clothing making a mess of them.

We tested in the river. The size is perfect 14cm long 8 cm width and 9 depth. It is perfect for sack eggs bait fishing. it is not bulky. It fall of from your belt if you you bent to pick up something. but you can solved the issue putting a screw in the belt holder. It keep the eggs bait fresher for more time if it is hot.

To small for what I need. Doesnt closed easily.
