Why not buy cheap, no-name tire levers?

Because cheap levers break — usually at the worst time. Gorilla Force levers are made from high-strength polymer and were optimized with computer simulation to remove weak points. When you're stranded with a flat, you want the tool that won't fail.

Are they hard to get under the tire bead?

No — when you use them right. The tip is thin enough to slip under the bead but not so thin it snaps. The trick: shift the bead into the center of the rim around the whole wheel, then push the tip straight down between the rim and tire — don't scoop.

Can they remove AND refit a tire?

Yes. Remove with the tip. To refit, flip the lever over and pry upward — the tip points away from the tube so it won't pinch it, and the lever lifts back out easily instead of catching.

Are they actually strong?

Yes — built for the tightest road, gravel, MTB, tubeless, and e-bike tires. If one ever breaks during normal use, we'll replace it.

Why not use metal tire levers?

Metal levers or hand tools scratch and dent rims — carbon and alloy alike. Ours are wide and contoured to the rim, spreading the prying force so the tire comes off and your rims stay perfect.

Stabil, zuverlässig und einfach in der Anwendung

Ich habe die Reifenheber jetzt schon mehrfach verwendet und bin wirklich zufrieden. Sie wirken sehr stabil und liegen gut in der Hand. Auch bei etwas fest sitzenden Reifen haben sie problemlos ihren Dienst getan, ohne dass ich Angst haben musste, dass sie brechen oder sich verbiegen. Bisher funktionieren sie einwandfrei und machen einen langlebigen Eindruck. Für alle, die regelmäßig am Fahrrad schrauben oder einfach ein zuverlässiges Werkzeug suchen, kann ich sie gerne empfehlen.
